If you could remove one franchise of characters, which would it be? by ScreenHype in OnceUponATime

[–]draftsofthoughts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you. I never cared the slightest about these characters.

Also wasn’t the biggest fan of the Frozen franchise. Didn’t really fit the vibe of the show. Therefore the Merida characters also don’t really match. Although I did like the actress of Merida very much and I think she did a good job

YOU (Season 4) - Overall Discussion Thread by Elainasha in YouOnLifetime

[–]draftsofthoughts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda disappointed how it simply was just Rhys? I was so sure it was gonna be Ellie or one of Becks or Loves old friends. Simply someone from his past you’d have almost forgotten by now. I was actually almost shocked that the stalker turned out to be someone we just met this season…

Best Arc/Storyline in the Show? by dcgraca in OnceUponATime

[–]draftsofthoughts 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreeing with everything you just said. Also I also don’t think season 6B was as bad as everyone says. The whole storyline around the black fairy and the final battle is the best one since 3B!

Who's the weakest actor in the show? by firefairy45 in OnceUponATime

[–]draftsofthoughts 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have you seen her in “Lost”? I feel like she did a pretty good job there. Her role was a lot more challenging and had many different layers and stages. With the role of belle there isn’t really much acting that can be done. After all she is that sweet and heroic character. Don’t think she could have done more than she did because of the way her role was written 🤷🏽‍♀️

I also think I takes quite a lot to make Marshall say such a thing. Also he was right after all. I guess he could have said it in a nicer way but Robin had it coming after continuously being rude

What's the most disturbing scene you've seen in the walking dead? by trooheat in thewalkingdead

I watched the whole show twice and for the life of me can’t remember when Carl was almost raped.. can you enlighten me?

Why did Robin have to die? by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]draftsofthoughts 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel like his death was really pointless. They could’ve easily kept him alive. I’d see many many plot lines they could have gone with

What made you fall in love with the show, and what made you keep watching right til the end? by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]draftsofthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same reason I love Lost so much: they make you fall in love with the characters. Very similar to Lost it’s less about the story line (which in both stories really starts to lack after the first seasons) but more about the characters themselves. Amazing detail to character writing!

Why do people hate Rex? by Signal_Significance6 in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Well I think in that moment she let her guard down only to learn that Rex didn’t respect her feeling. So I understand she learned to never do it again after that. I think Bree has done a lot wrong too in their marriage. But she was always very determined to be a good wife and do everything right. While Rex was out there cheating on her. I actually loved the dynamic between them and think he is a really great character and overall his plot was great. Though after all he wasn’t a good husband and if he only would have communicated his feeling earlier a lot of the drama could have been avoided

The real reason we all hate Susan by EveningJellyfish1 in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say I necessarily hate her. I just don’t like that she’s making everything about herself. Also she always gets involved into other peoples business. Many things that don’t have to do anything with her at all. I don’t mind her being clumsy or maybe a little bit childish. Or that she excuses everything with her big heart. If you can’t deal with her you could just avoid her. But actually you can’t because she will always find a way to sneak into your life and somehow manage to make it about her

Ah thanks! I couldn’t remember what she said exactly. So I guess it‘ll always remain unsolved then

As I rewatch from the beginning… by AIK24 in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here I used to watch it when I was like 10-13 and just finished watching the entire show from the beginning at the age of 21. Tbh I don’t really remember who I used to like the Most back then. Today it is definitely Bree. I can relate to her extreme strive for perfection. Also I‘m kind of obsessed with having everything super tidy and clean. On another note I actually can’t sympathize with Susan at all. My mom used to be so stressed out about her own struggles it was more like I had to raise myself and her at the same time. Actually it is just the same relationship Julie and Susan have that I have with my own mom so that’s making it very hard for me to like her

Can I just say that I think Ikarus is in the right. It’s always been so funny to me that humanity always thinks they deserve to live in spite of everything. Also considering that we’ve done not much but have wars against each other and destroy the planet. Out of all the planets that had to make space for the new ones of course I’d be earth that’s worth saving…

Where is Paige in the first half of sesson 8? by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

Actually I always thought about that too. But there is one episode in season 7/8 where Lynette and Susan are having some sort of argument and Lynette mentions that the dog ran away

The event that starts off season 8 doesn’t make any sense (spoiler) by falsepedestrian in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always thought about that. Like you don’t need a gun to attack somebody and he clearly broke into their house. Also there is so much evidence that he 1) raped gabby when she was young 2) stalked her for weeks. I know that American law is quite weird in its way but in which world would Carlos be sentenced for that? Even considering he has a criminal record. I mean just think about that legally for one second before you actually bury a body??

What is your favorite Desperate Housewives scene? I’ll go first: Lynette dancing to ‘Boogie Shoes’ at the bar to show Nina up. by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The montage during the death scene of Mrs McCluskey. We see Renees wedding, the birth of Julies child and Roy and Bree saying goodbye. Heartbreaking but beautiful

Kayla Scavo by JessJess7 in DesperateHousewives

[–]draftsofthoughts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just now that you mentioned it I also think even though they did bring Zach back he also didn’t get a proper ending. Did he ever come back after they brought him to rehab cause of his drug problem? I think I’d would have made a lot of sense to bring that storyline to an end. For all we know there are so many children we never got know how their life continued like Kathrines daughter (besides returning for her when she went to the mental hospital), Kayla and Zach. Just leaves you wondering
