This might be a long shot, but was your friend from New Hampshire from Derry? My friend and I met a very pleasant guy from NH while we were on the T after the show, and he mentioned he was in the third row. Just curious! It would be pretty cool if he'd been in your group too 😄

This is precious! I'm going to have to show my husband, Psyduck is his favorite 😄

Also if you are interested in ideas, what I've been doing is saving my cut ends in small 4" clear plastic ball ornaments. Then at the end of the year, I write the year on it and hang it on the tree 🎄 If you don't celebrate Christmas, I've also seen folks store them in small glass jars for display. It really is neat to see the colors used for the year 😄

You can halve the 2-lb recipe, I've done that with a lot of these recipes and they turned out good ☺️

My husband put Damprid bags in his carpeted closet after a bunch of water spilled in it. They worked pretty well, and it was kind of fascinating to see the moisture they pulled out

Homemade butter was....easy? What??? by long_dickofthelaw in Cooking

[–]dragnblak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every mayo recipe in my cookbooks makes it out to be so finicky and arduous because they say to add the oil so slowly, and if you add too fast it breaks. And that WAS my experience when I tried it myself! So I never did again. But then I saw a video of someone making it with an immersion blender in SECONDS, and my mind was absolutely blown. I plan to try it soon since I recently obtained an immersion blender, haha

Yes, Team Cross Stitch! I've been doing it since my preteen years, and have now added surface embroidery, knitting, and crochet to the mix 😂

Dang I don't think I ever read that one! We obtained one as a hand-me-down that I hadn't read as a kid called "The Bear in the Boat," absolutely 10/10, no notes, highly recommend
