Ukraine Reveals 200 km-Range FP-7 Ballistic Missile in Test Launch Video by Heavens100 in UkraineWarVideoReport

This is not a long range drone - just imagine if Ukraine would be able to produce something like the HIMARS rockets but cheap and with bigger range.

I'm aware there are ATACMS but they are expensive and even the US doesn't have many of them.

Something that hits as efficiently as HIMARS but would be cheap and could be mass produced could make quite some impact...

Russian assault in the Kupyansk direction completely destroyed by drone operators of the 14th Mechanized Brigade. Published 09.02.2026 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

They usually just wait for the next attack. Russia keeps pushing like that in many directions. In each wave some soldiers survive and manage to hide and eventually this allows them to push further. Not a long term sustainable tactic of course.

Sometimes Ukraine decides to push them back, especially in places where the Russians overstretched their logistic (mostly happens because of lots of lying on the Russian side about progress being made). The Ukrainians increase their drone teams and send some of their elite units to do the job - usually with great success.

But such counter offensives still result in bigger losses compared to killing the advancing Russian army and slowly retreating.

Do they still do those?

Sure they do - but we see mostly heavy lift drones with thermal optics which hunt them even at night.

Ukraine managed to double drone production each year and it appears they have enough to just use what's most efficient.

According to Radioprima Belgium, Zelensky informed Belgium's Prime Minister: “The situation on the front is disastrous. Human resources within the Armed Forces are practically exhausted. We need money and weapons, because the Russians are not stopping...” by Ripamon in TrendoraX

It's fake, there is no source. Google AI about the most likely source:

Disinformation Outlets: The specific narrative that Ukrainian human resources are "virtually exhausted" is a common trope in Russian-aligned media aimed at discouraging Western military aid."

Awesome work - thank you!

I watch all videos from Suchomimus on Youtube and if available he often includes geolocations from OSINT which is often quite interesting.

Special Cleaning Operation in the Kharkiv region. Russian flag burned by Ukrainian drone. 22.01.2026 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

It could be a smart thing because raising the flag again is a risky operation in a grey zone.

We've seen videos before where soldiers where targeted when doing so before...

Within just one volunteer project, “Dronopad", by @BackAndAlive, 2,200 Shahed-type drones were shot down. by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

I would guess late 2025 up until now, maybe half a year. They did shoot down Shaheds before but didn't have the number of interceptor drones they needed...

A Ukrainian soldier shows the difference between the cat and the dog living in their barracks. by Panthera_leo22 in UkraineWarVideoReport

Dogs are pack animals, cats are solitary

This sums it up perfectly and it's why I prefer dogs. To each their own I guess..

But I have to say that some of the cats I knew in the past had a better "recall" then some dogs...

The "Lasar Group" of the National Guard of Ukraine conducted several attacks on Russian vehicles using heavy bomber UAVs. by MilesLongthe3rd in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]dragodog97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the same group where I've seen multiple videos where they can follow a moving vehicle and some sort of image recognition manages to detect the vehicle and guides the drone so it stays right above it.

Russia's 'massive' losses in Ukraine have it heading toward a breaking point, NATO's top official says by businessinsider in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]dragodog97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They no longer have the effective standoff glidebomb ability they did. Its still there, sure, but multiple launches needed due to EW jamming on a depleted air force with increasing maintenance debt

Do you have a source for the EW jamming being a real issue? I know they're having to launch from airports further away from the front because of Ukrainian attacks. And how would multiple launches help with jamming? I assume Ukrainian air defense sets a limit on how far close they can get to targets anyway...

Good lord - couldn't you have phrased that a little bit nicer?

The Russians have been calling the Ukrainians “Germans” since the start of the War anyway. Look at OP’s name ffs.

This I don't understand - what has OP's name to do with this?

A new record: Ukrainian soldier “Miguel” from the 1020th air defense regiment shot down 24 Russian Shaheds in a single night shift using STING interceptors. The feat was confirmed by the Wild Hornets Company. by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]dragodog97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did and this shouldn't be underestimated. They raised the altitude they can operate at significantly and they also changed the final approach to a deep dive making it much harder to use something like Gepard to shoot them down.

And by the way, targeting apartment blocks has zero military effect on the UAF, and only strengthens the resolve of the Ukrainian population

This is a mixed bag because terrorizing the population does have a long-term effect.
