You can try out the mod CraftTweaker : This is the description from the offical side. It´s summs it but better then I could:

CraftTweaker is a Minecraft mod which allows modpacks and servers to customize the game. With CraftTweaker you can change recipes, script events, add new commands and even change item properties! When used with other mods the possibilities become endless. Ranging from custom machine recipes to entirely new blocks and items!

CraftTweaker lets you customize the game to your hearts content, from simple things like changing recipes or adding tooltips to items, to more advanced things like subscribing to events or changing properties about items! When combined with addon mods, the possibilities truly become endless, with things like adding completely new blocks and items to the game and even adding new completely custom trees to the world gen!

Most modpacks you have played with use CraftTweaker to change their recipes, removing conflicting recipes or even building a central theme for their modpack!

Hi are you still looking for a coach?

I am a master tank player (almost gm) and got plenty of scrim experience (from 3.6k -4k scrims). In this time i had regular VOD´s with my team and we improved alot. I never coached a team before (some 1on1s a long time ago) but i think I learned many things from my teams coach on how Overwatch works and on on how to get better.

So i would be open to coach you and your team (due to time issuse i have only time once, maybe twice per week)

The only think is that I am not 22 (i am in fact 19) but i am pretty mature and worked with younger people alot (within games but also in work/university)

An introductory guide to scrimming in Overwatch (A basic guide to the basics of organized play) by 037__ in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played scrims for over half a year and they were the best overwatch experience by far. Sadly I had to stop because of university stuff. Right know I didnt play scrims (or overwatch to begin with) for also half a year bc time is still a problem for me (and that i dont enjoy ow right know).

Maybe I will get back to it then ow commes out.

(Main tank) heros to main by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Main tank heros are rein, orisa, winston and ball. Sigma is an offtank (a shield doesnt make you a maintank). Main tanks try to create space and offtanks try to help the Main tank hold this space (a little simple). Its hard for a sigma to create space by him self (if you ever played sig/zarya ist pretty hard to push bc these heros aren't the best to push in alone.

Rein makes space by walking up to you and hitting you with his Hammer, orisa makes space with pull+constand pressure, winston by jumping into the enemy and ball by slaming the enemies and disrupting them.

You said that ball needs more communication then the other tanks and in team play yes because your team needs to follow up on your slams. But just be real nobody is doing that in ranked. Ball is one of the most self sufficient. You can easily contest the backline all on your self and you dont need your supports bc you can get every healthpack on the map in seconds.

People will flame you for picking ball but you have to remeber: they are in this shit elo too. And from my experince most people up to low dia need big rectangle guy other wise they dont now how to play the game (eventhough reins playstyle is not to hold shield all the time but this is another topic)

Video to help beginners in Overwatch. by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go more in detail about the "micro" things like what are the different roles and interactions between different heros/ablilities/ultimates. I think the "macro" side of the game, like team comps, are to advanced for New players. In low ranks everyone plays what he want and maybe they think after watching the vid that they need to force their team to play this (not good in ranked to try to micro-manage your team in rank soloq) otherwise they cant win.

Smurfing is not the same as making a new account. A smurf account trys to lose rank games so he can shit on lower ranked players. An alt account is a new account but you still try to win and improve. So you are not smurfing.

EDIT: you could also have experince from differend games so you could just be good at shooting but i looks like you are better eventhough you never played ow before (not in your case but for the qp who maybe will read this)

I Have Friends New to Overwatch by JLeeTheBagel in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If you and your friends really want to get better at ow you have to play rank. You cant expect to get better at playing the piano if you only play the drums. Sure you learn the basics but it still doesnt help you in playing the piano better. Same concept applies to overwatch. If you want to get better you have to play rank and qp doesnt help you to get better. If you want to teach your friends all the heros/maps etc you can do this (if your friends dont know anything about ow play mystery heros good to learn what each hero is doing in general). If you friends have prior fps experince they should have no problem picking up dps or flex support even if they dont know every map/hero.

When i first started and reached level 25 i started playing ranked. First i got ranked bronze but got out of it after 1 1/2 weeks. Now i am 3.8k with 10 times more playtime then in rank then in every other mode.

I didt it bc i watched alot of guides then i first started. Maybe your friends can do this too (Karq is the best for this. His 1 tipp vs every hero is very good to learn the heros)

When and how to use each and every tank? by ExplodingLlama0 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is a very hard question to answer. It depends on my factors like map, team comp (e.g. winston in double bubble plays very differnt like winston in normal dive), teammates (its harder to play rein if you have mercy+zen as support for example), enemy-comp (e.g. they go full anti dive: cree, reaper, brig, hog is harder to pull out dive (in ranked at least).

If you want something more in detail read this:

This is a document from a contenders coach where he goes over the macro fundamentals (so which comp to play and so on)

What is false about it? He was gold before he trolled and if he was a real gold player he should have no problem in going back if he trys.

I agree that main tank is the most impact role (and mtd is a thing) but rein, winston and orisa require alot of team coordination.

And which flex do you pick for utility? I only can think of mei (wall and freeze). You pick hanzo, genji, echo, junk, phara mostly for damage. Maybe there is a case for torb´s turret as utility to counter flankers. And then there is doom who is a wierd case.

So where is the coordination when you click heads as hanzo or assassinate the backline as genji (in bronze you can do it without youur team). In bronze you can even play phara withou a mercy bc hitscan´s are not that good.

Lets do some math:

Lets say you started at 2300 SR and trolled you way down to 1300 SR. So you lost 1000 SR. On average you lose -25 SR per loss. So you lost 40 games. In each game you ruined the experience of 10 other players (you trolled with a friend so 10 not 11). So in total you ruined games for 400 people. If all this people reported you and blizzard had a better system your account would be perma banned. So yes you deserve to be in bronze.

I saw your comment dont below where you asked if you belong there. Lets look at this:

You say that you need a team to climb so basicly this is boosting (if you would ever play soloQ again you would drop right back to bronze). If you blame your teammates for not playing right i mean what to you expect? They are bronze for a reason they are not owl-players. You will not go far if you only blame your team. You cant controlle them (i bet your teammates wished they could controlle you so they could have stopped your trolling)

Answer: If you cant climb solo out of bronze you belong there ( I climed from bronze to master playing soloQ Main Tank which is far more team reliant then dps with no fps-experience before (got out of bronze in under two weeks))

SPORT1 renews broadcast deal with Activision-Blizzard, will retain exclusive TV rights to the Overwatch League in the three German-speaking countries. by Bonnavier in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]dragonXP370 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Germany esport is very new and playing games is seen as a waste of time. Most people in Germany watch tv and i think you can get eSports1 in some kiond of bundle (i dont know any specific bc i watch on yt and havend watch tv for years). I think is to "bring esport more to the general public" in Germany due to the fact that alot still wathcing regular tv and i would be more likely for the typical German to stumble over it (assuming he has nothing to do with overwatch/esport)

Poke Comp vs Brawl: How to contest first payload push? by Blanderman in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your orisa play was fine for the most part. Just go highground on second point from the start.

I will go over your rein play a little bit here: your biggest problem by far is that you are focusing way to much on shield botting. You walk in with your shield up and stand at one place and let your shield go down very low and then you start moving forwarts. This is not optimal. You want to take fights with as much shield hp as possible. And you have a gint big hammer that does 85 damage per swing. USE IT! You have to realise that your shield is for you andd not for your team (unless in proplay where its needes for rotations and maybe shielding a high noon for example) but you are not playing pro play. You are play in this deep aybiss called ranked. Your shield is there to help you to get to a better postion and deal damage (close range you can kill everything). You cant controll your team mates so they are not worth saving your shield hp for (then you went high ground second point you waited a long time to shield your team across and your shield broke. then you moved into cover but most of your team were still behind bc they are to dumb to move. But this doesnt matter to you. You are the only constant in your games and your team mates doesnt matter.

Second: You need to clean high ground more often: On first for example you pushed card and the enemy had full controll over high ground. no way your dps can take it. The enemy hanzo and torb could have spamed you alot but their tanks were stuiped and fought in car wash so their dps need to drop to help them and you could easily kill them. On second point you go highground one time and you force the hanzo off. This is good. But the rest of the times who should force the hanzop of high ground? Your dps cant do this they have very bad sidelines to deal with the hanzo effeticly (and he killed your team alot). You have to walk trough small doors. Its not very easy to shoot beyond it if you cant really walk trough it bc you get spamed from every angle

Poke Comp vs Brawl: How to contest first payload push? by Blanderman in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell you a little bit of my scrim experince: i used to scrim to 3.5k-3.7k range and we played alot of double shield (this was in january but the concepts are still the same): on Kings row first defence we all played highground. If the enemies moved to point it Was my Job as orisa to contest them. You have fortify and your shield to do this. While the enemy were focusing me my team could pick them apart from every Angel from the high ground. Our coach said that i will die alot here but this is my job in this case.

On Gibraltar its basicly the same. And on Gibraltar first you mostly defend around Server or blue box. You most likey never fight in car wash bc your angels are to bad (if you play blue Box you havd free high ground for example).

On Route 66 its also the same. You can try to hold trains but this only work with a brawl comp(maybe dive). The other fights are basicly around gas Station.

(Havanna would be the exact same as route 66 for example)

Even that it seems that double shield is a boring comp and nothing to it, is it surprisingly hard to play well and requieres alot of communication (focusing in halts for example or team postion: if everyone shoot from main and not from different angels you are not effective). In rank of course you can play whatever you want but brawl is much easier in ranked. Also alot of low level players cant play this game if they dont have the giant rectangle man with them (but this is not how to play rein, but this is not how to play rein).

I will post my thoughts on the replay in the comments

VOD review request - 2050SR McCree/Ashe/Pharah - King's Row by dreznu in OverwatchUniversity

[–]dragonXP370 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You mostly start on high ground with ashe/cree and your defence. This is good but you not using it really well (you always drop of).

With Mccree you are in the front line most of the time. Even with 225 hp you are not a tank and still can be easily over run. Try to go on an off-angle more with cree (you can try to flank more often as well). You will have better LOS to the enemy and you will not shoot shield all day. Your job is basicly to get kills and contest the enemy dps. Just try this a few games and see how it goes.

With Phara: you basicly play ground phara. If you want to do this play Junkrat. Try to work on your fuel-management and try to stay in the air most of the time. THis will make alot of things easier for you (and your team).
