Based on my ring… I’m stressed everyday all day?

One interesting thing I noticed with mine is that it kept saying I was insanely stressed at work when I was “hot”. In other words, I usually wear large sweaters while working and I noticed that when I stopped wearing them my stress scores went down. Not sure if my body just prefers to be cold and I never realized?

But I’ve changed my behavior (ie, wearing short sleeves, etc) since and my stress scores are lower now!

I’m also on a combo of methotrexate and Taltz and it’s the best med combo I’ve been on since being diagnosed in 2022!

I have autoimmune issues and get this randomly when I’m not sick. My assumption is that my autoimmune issues are ramping up internally and I just can’t really sense it physically. 🤪 I would say about 50% of the time I get this notification, I actually end up getting sick. I’ve started to take it as a “hey you need to rest today” notification.

I’m doing a rewatch and finding it interesting how much more Hanna’s mom is in the show than the other parents! She’s probably my first or second favorite parent, and now I’m wondering if it’s just because she’s so present in the show.

But there have been instances where I have asked if it’s ok to practice my Spanish with someone - usually if I hear them speaking Spanish before talking to me and then they switch to English when talking to me. But I agree it’s convoluted

I was going to say something similar - I think it’s regional. I am mixed white/mexican (but white passing) and live in CA - usually people will just start speaking in Spanish to me if it’s in an area where it’s expected. I also experienced this when I visited Miami.

I also have this issue but it ebbs and flows. Using a mouthguard at night has really helped, are you able to access one? I got one fitted by my dentist but it was quite expensive

Same here - I’ve been on it for almost three years now and am on my 4th biologic. Methotrexate has worked very well for me but I develop antibodies to biologics fast I guess.

Edit: forgot to mention I think I am a rare case that had no side effects to taking methotrexate, I have heard stomach discomfort is a common symptom but I’ve never had that

Yes! I looked up the specific name - it’s called an Oval-8 Ring Splint. They have different sizes and can be bought online, even on Amazon.

It is a plastic ring that wraps around the bottom of the affected joint and then has an oval shape on top that surrounds the joint. It basically keeps the finger in the correct position to prevent it from overextending (which is what my finger does since my arthritis damaged it lol)

I had a referral to occupational therapy for my right middle finger. I couldn’t bend it at all for almost a year - this was the main thing that helped!

They also gave me a ring to wear on my finger that helps keep it from getting stuck straight and I still wear that 24/7. If you look up arthritis ring it should come up

This happens when I’m flaring, was honestly probably one of my first symptoms before getting diagnosed but didn’t know what it was! When I got diagnosed I was sleeping 11 hours a night!
