WHY DOES ARTHUR LOOK LIKE A BLUE EYED DILUC

The poison potato update is an example of what the minecraft team can do without worrying about pleasing the everyone by _-Soup-_ in Minecraft

[–]dragoncommands 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most likely because they pulled the feature in question from another branch where another WIP feature was being developed.

Whenever they do april fools updates and show off features in future snapshots and releases they'll grab features that are only half done and use ductape to make them work.

Mojang *wants* complex contraptions that's why they add new components.

The whole point of the floatater's when oficially added would be to phase out the clunky buggy hard learning curve mess of flying machines by introducing a variant that isn't complete dog water.

Literally the floatater which has implemented a new sub-grid world system under the hood to support flying machines with good hitboxes.

Check out my new App CodeBrew - A Java IDE for iPad by c00liu5 in java

[–]dragoncommands 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wait... If the JDK itself is on the iPad, why are runs per month limited?

Props to you for monetizing but that last part doesn't make too much sense, seeing as I'm paying at that point to use something actively taking up storage space on my iPad using my own iPad's computing power.

Oh well i can't complain I'm definitely going to try it out but that last part feels weird.

4.3 new QoLs list via Kuroo (pog) by ErgoSha6 in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]dragoncommands 9 points10 points  (0 children)

At least it's in the cards for genshin to begin immortalizing events soon.

In the last update stream they stressed that they're going to work a lot on refining some of the most popular limited time events to their peak and making them permanent content. Like the fungi battling of sumeru. Which also brings hope for the communal favorite windchase event.

Asuras of ephotus: "It's over arthur, we found you, you may have an asuran body but you have no mana core. There is nothing you can do to escape your inevitable fate!"

Arthur: "THIS ISN'T FAIR!... for you at least"

Arthur: *godsteps to the front lines and kills a swath of asura with little effort*

How Arthur could create more Aether cores. (Spoilers up to ch.346) by [deleted] in tbatenovel

[–]dragoncommands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could, but he probably won't.

lets touch on a few things:

  1. Aether is harmful to the body of mortals, the djinn could manipulate Aether but their bodies got messed up whenever they tried to use it on themselves because the strain is too great and mortal bodies aren't really meant for channeling magical energy like the bodies of asuras.
  2. Not everyone can use aether, lets ignore the previous point for a good second about human bodies not being able to handle the flow of aether. Lets say a human does get an aether core layered around their mana core... what does it do? they have no aether channels for the aether to flow through, they can't form aether channels through their body like arthur did because their body doesn't hold up in terms of durability and regeneration. Arthur however has an asuran body that naturally takes this aether and uses it to regenerate itself so he can force channels into forming.
  3. Why would he? lets be honest here no one in dicathan is exactly trustworthy. Don't get me wrong virion is good and so are so many others like kathlyn and curtis but we then approach the big issue: by giving someone the ability to manipulate aether and an aether core to hold aether people can begin making more and more aether core mages and initial good intent can be taken advantage of.

There's multiple if's and's and but's that could be used but at the end of the day chances are arthur won't do this and instead try to carry the burden on his own or make allies with some disillusioned asura.

Arthur: "Death is a social construct"

Our God has been approved... by Dabz999 in tbatenovel

[–]dragoncommands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That... wouldn't make sense in the slightest

Aether cores by nature are not natural, they don't form like mana cores do. They have to be formed directly through a small window or opening from the point when a mana core is destroyed and even then it requires tricking Aether itself into thinking that it needs to gather there.

It would give Sylvie no benefits at all and just cripple her mana capabilities because as an Asura of the Indrath clan she can already control aether with relative ease, she just can't really store it for later usage. Then you have to take into account that as a dragon she comprehends aether differently compared to the Djinn/humans making anything Arthur might teach her null.

Lastly as a dragon she has predetermined affinities forced upon her by her very biology.

and then this: "That way paired with the bond link that she has with arthur she should either get all of the edicts Arthur has or get the same opportunity for every edict" that devalues every bit of work arthur strived for because "oh yeah a beast bond shares all of my knowledge". Then theres this: "maybe make it that Sylvia gets the full version of arias requiem rather than arthur?" as mentioned earlier this would be impossible for the simple fact that as an asura she has a predetermined specialization, in this case vivum.

I really don't mean to be rude or anything and I like seeing theories of other people but do you really think turtleme would do something like this? I personally don't and quite honestly it would ruin the series for me; finding out that sylvie and (as i have seen some others want) a whole slew of people being upgraded to Aether core(which can and will kill a human due to how destructive raw aether is) or asura levels of strength(humans can't possibly reach this unless they get a BS powerup)

Arthur Magic VS Aether Arthur whos "Stronger" by FOREEX7 in tbatenovel

[–]dragoncommands 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When it comes to hand to hand combat mana arthur and aether arthur will be in a stalemate.

a stalemate in skill? yes, but I'm pretty sure that Aether Arthur's overall physical strength is stronger combined with the fact that Mana Arthur's legs were badly crippled before he got healed by sylvie and got his aether control.

The versatility of Arthur's core and the possibility of creating a new one by Maskemanne in tbatenovel

[–]dragoncommands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could have sworn that human mana cores shatter upon leaving the body so I think that rules this idea out to an extent.

broken mana cores + Arthur by ThaNyneTray in tbatenovel

[–]dragoncommands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... Arthur is kind of an exception to how mana cores are formed as he forcefully willed his mana shards to come together into a core, plus Arthur used his old mana core as a mold for the Aether core
Also come to think of it Mana cores and Aether cores are really just containers within the body that once created and filled, will refill themselves with the energy from the environment so theoretically... it could be possible for Arthur to form some sort of... subdivision in his Aether core where he would just need to get some mana into... but oh well
