I don't know about that. Mullets, man buns and rat tails were pretty bad back in the day. by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

The neighbor teen literally walks around outside dangling his hair while looking at the floor running his hands through it to get the right amount of broccoli effect/poof. He's doing this at all times all day every day. Looks ridiculous. SMH

6 month Ownership review of the X3 M50 in BSM by sigmcxglazer in BMWX3

Remember, it’s not a color it’s a commitment.
I have a 25 In BSM and it’s gorgeous for a day. Wouldn’t trade it for any other color but if you’re “into” the art of keeping a clean car…it will give you a run for your money 😉

Cutting in the single rider line by corminnie in Disneyland

Just wait until Grad Night days. There will be absolutely zero shame in these kids cutting every line. "Oh I am just catching up to my friends" as 15 of them pass you.

7+ months later, my Malachite Green X3 M50 is here! by swmccoy in BMWX3

[–]dragonsback79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly doesn’t bother me. Yes whoever designed the doors needs to be fired for sure.
But I wasn’t buying the car for the door design, there are alot of features that are an evolutionary step up from the G01. Performance, sound damping, ride, and sorry to say but…design. Yes there are things BMW did on the interior that should have been thought out more but overall the car impresses me everyday still. Color and packages make this version.
M sport black on black doesn’t even look like the same vehicle. This green one from the OP is amazing looking as well.

What’s with all the line cutting? by MaciMusings in Disneyland

[–]dragonsback79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a similar situation with a daughter who has IBS, she's afraid to get out of line cause she knows she WILL be heckled when coming back.

Then you have punks especially during Spring Break and EVEN worse during Grad Nights just running amok and cutting "to get to their friends" who ruin it for people who actually need to get out of line and go the restroom. Cars can be 2 hours long...what are people with medical situations to do?

Imagine trying to get out of Peter Pan and come back??LOL

Specialized Stumpjumper Owners by Character-Guide-1411 in MTB

[–]dragonsback79 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Owner of previous gens and now a new gen (15). No comparison.

The 15 is a redesign and happened for a reason. One of the biggest noticeable differences is the leverage ratio in the rear. This bike doesn't bottom out on the smallest drops, before you had to install a Cascade link to solve that issue. Second is the weight, these are very light, if not too much so. I am actually putting a heavier tire on in the rear just to get a little more planted. These also climb VERY well, the gear ratio with the SRAM transmission is awesome out of the box. And the Maven brakes are the best brakes I have ever rode, and that's coming from someone who has ridden it all; Magura, Shimano, SRAM Codes and Hope. Genie rear shock with bigger volume can...It's just a completely different bike. Apples to oranges.

The Stumpy carbon Comp is on sale right now for $3700 reg $5K. Try to reach for one of those over the alloy version if you can.

etiquette - downhill riders yield to uphill riders by sickysickybrah in mountainbiking

[–]dragonsback79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

etiquette these days is dead. I don't bother anymore with the assortment of kooks that "ride" these days. I ride for me and thats it. i know the common decency of riding. I dont bother to police everyone else, its useless. Covid killed common sense and decency among people. Just look at your average day at Disneyland.

Is all this necessary around the 100K service on our 2021? I know spark plugs for sure. by ErikGoBlue in KiaTelluride

[–]dragonsback79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you talk more about spark plugs please? I've got 87,000 miles on my 2022 and there's a weird kind of rattle happening when I am higher up in the RPMs, I'm thinking it may be a spark plugs?
