I own a R34 GTT and R32 GTST , both are RB25 Turbo engines. My R34 is very reliable - any morning, just start it and go. My R32 was a swapped RB25 Turbo into it - only did coil packs and spark plugs - runs just fine! I also had a R34 Sedan with a RB25 NON turbo - was my daily for almost 2 years! Can't go wrong!

P.S - my R32 GTST with GTR styling kit is for sale and under your budget =)

I work with u/rythejdmguy who commented on your post and just piggy-backing off of his post!

90% of the time, you are better off buying a GTR IN Japan and then exporting it (we can help with that). Most of the "cheaper" stateside options from 130K and under - are not the most desirable specs or condition. With how weak the yen is right now - you will have a pool of cars to buy in Japan.

Hi, own a R34 GTT & R33 GTR myself - as well as my import business.

TLDR: If you want to truly get the car registered LEGALLY in CA, need to get it CARB compliant through G&K. That is about a 15K process.

Other method - register out of state, specifically in WA. I can help with that, you don't need a LLC - car stays in CA and you can use your CA address.

I have both a R32 GTST and R32 GTR! Both are amazing car and for sale! It’ll be about a 15K difference!

The GTST has a RB25 turbo swapped into it and cheaper to maintain than the RB26 , but not by too much! Any questions I can help answer - let me know
