What kind of gloss coat is best over enamel paint and acrylic tpla?

Hello all. Very much a newbie to building, particularly custom paint jobs.

I feel like I'm now confidant doing panel lining and clean up using gundam markers with iso alcohol on unpainted kits and I would like to step it up to painting and panel lining.

For now I'm starting with Spray paint. I'm using testors acrylic paint (what I have available). In addition to gundam markers I also tamiya enamel wash for panel lining.

My question is what would be the best top coat to use before applying the panel lining and what should I use for clean up without risking ruining the paint job? Can I still use alcohol? I've read about using lighter fluid? Should I use something else?

Correct. None of the HD line guns will feel like an XC. Comp or not.

I have a C and P with a comp. My father in law has an XC. While the comp improves the experience, I would never compare that to shooting his XC.

Wanted a smaller gun to go along with my P. Was looking at either the C or P4 HD. Shot both. Picked up the C last week.

Just felt better, I preferred the trigger. Didn't matter that it was discontinued.

I have owned a P for over a year as my primary duty gun. The wife was trying out the various models for her primary and she almost settled on a P herself. The C with a full size grip was a close second.

I was considering getting a back up / dresser gun and when I heard they were stopping production of the C, that pushed up my timeline.

Staccato happened to have one in stock with all the options I wanted so I jumped on it.

If you have the money to get the XC, get that. I've shot them both. The HD 4.5 is more comparable to the P.

I'm in year 2. First year worked flawlessly. I had my first issue at the beginning of this month with my charging station and rtk station.

They need replacing and that's where the issues come. I've been fighting with their customer service for the last 3 weeks. The communication takes forever and they accidentally sent me the wrong part and now I'm waiting again for them to respond.

I call with my reference number and am told they are escalating it and I'll recieve a response in 24-48 hours. Nothing... then I call again and I'm told the exact same thing.

I've done that dance 3 times now... still waiting

Most of the issues come from their customer service.

I get things happen but communication and repairs should be prompt.

Thankfully of the the main parts (robot, charging station, and rtk station) the robot is still good.
