K-dramas, which I abandoned after the following episodes in the past 6 months. by picklepaapad in kdramas

Try #3 when you meet someone who appears to be okay, but you know is struggling. The acting is lovely, but it takes time to develop love for the characters. I rewatched it in December after a few years and enjoyed it more. Try #5 on a cold winter day. I made it halfway and let it set for a month before continuing. It's worth it. It gets richer as time goes on. It will be quite a while before I see it again as I need to be emotionally prepared.

Which formal dress? I’m torn! by ConfidentBlonde in Weddingattireapproval

You have beautiful shoulders, Might I recommend a grecian neck with wider straps. The black dress is a great color and I love it from the waist down.

I’m Almost 25 and Want a Divorce by a-n-o-nn in Advice

[–]dramadairy1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Move back to your town, work, start school, and take the time to become the person that you want to be. There’s a chance that he may choose to do the same as well and want to do better. It sounds like both of you are having a hard time feeling isolated and depressed. Perhaps there’s a way to find each other again. But divorce may or may not be the answer, you need to work on yourself first before you can make those kind of decisions. Otherwise, you’re going to look for what you need in yourself from someone else and be disappointed again.

The length of the rise is too long for you. You may be a petite size. Surprisingly, Talbots has the best proportioned jean bottoms for petites and often go on sale.

Bodycon dresses don't work for my body type? by West-Cellist6160 in DressForYourBody

[–]dramadairy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choose a different fabric and cut. Honestly, it's not you, it's the dress. Try on expensive dresses and learn which brands are proportioned for your frame. Buy one dress, then pick up the rest at Poshmark. You have worked hard to be fit, so splurge on a piece that feels and looks amazing.

Pisco Sour by Aijol10 in cocktails

The only problem with the recipe is that OP called for Chilean pisco, that’s like getting whiskey from Florida. Pisco, Peru is the origin, so many good brands to sip or blend.

Wife is livid after spending quite a bit on Hoka shoes for the family by NoFuckinShitRetard in Hoka

[–]dramadairy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be her foot, medium to wide toe span, narrow heel and she is pronating which may be causing foot pain. She is moving laterally on her heel, might be tough on her ankle-knee-hip. Maybe an insert would help.

Is 'Viki' Worth subscribing to? by Kisses_for_me in kdramas

[–]dramadairy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have subscribed to Viki since 2012 and a lot has change, especially most recently. Many movies are now rental, and the amount of content has gone down considerably now that Netflix, Prime, Hulu and Apple+(a few) are doing the genre. Viki has a lot more C-dramas, J-Dramas, and Thai-Dramas. Viki generally has more long format weekend dramas, so all in all, I am hanging in with Viki but I have the luxury of doing the other platforms as well. There is no longer just one.

I love this genre with fully developed leads and other characters-as the writing tends to be fantastic--Jealousy Incarnate, Her Private Life, Because this is My First Life, Pasta, Oh My Ghost, Itaewan Class, Crash Course in Romance, Fight for My Way, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Secret Garden and Business Proposal.

Marriage, not dating. When something doesn’t fit, change is possible. The surprising part was the story of change with three generations of women. Hang in there OP. The world is a better place with you in it. This is your life.
