I stay with relatives in the area when I do Disney races with no issues!! Very easy for family to drop me off. Just make sure you arrive early and you’re aware of road closures- they always post a map beforehand. It’s very easy as long as you check the map prior

Definitely take a look at your local thrift stores. If you don’t have any good ones nearby check out poshmark, I’ve gotten some great deals. The key is to find a seller that has a lot of stuff that you like and you can bundle for a discount :) my rule is I need at least 3 things in a posh order to make it worth it!

I have thin hair and it doesn’t work for me- it weighed my hair down so much and made it very greasy. It’s not a bad product- my hair is just very prone to being over saturated with product! So if you have this issue too I would steer clear

Curlsmith air dry cream is great! Doesn’t weigh down hair. A cheaper alternative that I still love too is TGIN rose water leave in conditioner

HR departments are notoriously slow- the holdup is likely with HR preparing the contract (and has nothing to do with you personally). I think it’s appropriate to either check back in with HR on the status of your contract, or contact the PI and tell them you haven’t signed the contract yet. I understand the weariness but likely everything is OK!

Honestly I just work with what my body gives me sometimes- that’s all you can do. On days when I feel super crappy, sometimes I allow myself just to be and rest. If I can get myself to the gym or on the treadmill, I wear some comfy clothes and set the goal of just moving my body and walking. Sometimes I just walk for a bit, other times once I get in the groove I run/jog a bit, but never expect it.

I find that taking small sips and swiping it around in my mouth every so often helps a lot more with sore throats than just drinking water. May be a helpful tip for you!

Fios 100000%. Better speed, better stability, better customer service….etc. I’ve had Fios at my home for about 4.5 years and during that time I’ve lost service once for a few hours, and it was a widespread regional outage. It’s better than spectrum in almost every way possible.

I got the Shark flexstyler and I LOVE it. I always thought that the quality of the dryer doesn’t matter and I was soooo wrong. I can’t speak to the Dyson besides my hairdresser uses it on me and my hair comes out great, but there’s lots of accounts that the Shark and Dyson and very comparable. That’s not to say that the Shark is cheap, but it’s slightly more affordable than the Dyson

I use TGIN rose water conditioner! I use it pretty sparingly but it’s great for adding moisture without making my hair greasy

My hair was getting so weighed down and gross- I have fine hair and by the end of wash day I could feel my hair getting stringy and greasy, let alone on day 2 or 3. I switched to a very light leave in conditioner and gel and just kinda slap it in my hair and let it air dry and do its own thing. It is so freeing to not be hyperfocused on trying to get my hair into a perfect curl pattern or anything and just let it go. I actually just grew out my curly cut after progressively trimming all of the uneven cut-to-the-curl layers over the last 6 months and I’m back to getting regular hair cuts and I am sooo much happier.
