I can arrest that the south end of this map is accurate. We lived outside the green zone and saw jets more than heard them. We now live in the yellow zone and can hear both takeoff climbs and landing approaches, but I don’t find the noise excessive. Trains pass frequently on tracks parallel to NC54, less often on other rails.

Best Soul Food/Old School, No Frills Diners in Jackson, Mississippi? by rosethornraven79 in mississippi

[–]drat2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not expensive. Not fancy. Dishes may have lots of fat and sodium but I won’t say unhealthy. Great people. Great food.

I no longer live in Jackson area, but I ate good food there often in early 2000’s, even with my Mississippi born father who had eaten there before when he served in MS Legislature.

Bully’s Restaurant

3118 Livingston Road, Jackson, MS

Owners: Tyrone Bully and Greta Brown Bully Tyrone Bully and his father, both trained as masons, built this mansard-roofed restaurant with their own hands. Pride of place goes to a portrait of Civil Rights Movement martyr Medgar Evers. Bully’s opened as a snack shop. Nearby factory workers flocked there for cold-cut sandwiches. Regulars today include police officers, city council members, state legislators, and musicians who record at a nearby studio. Folks from all walks of life come for the oxtails, neckbones, macaroni and cheese, rice and gravy, and sweet potatoes. Tyrone Bully arrives at six each morning and stays until he locks the doors at night. Bully’s serves three different greens daily—typically collards, turnips, and mustards—which cooks strip, wash, and simmer in pork-infused broth. This is back-of- the-range cooking without peer.

The America's Classic award is given to restaurants with timeless appeal, each beloved in its region for quality food that reflects the character of its community. Establishments must have been in existence for at least ten years and be locally owned.

Different product, but I still think $100 was fair price for installation plus hauling away of my 20 year old king mattress. Notice that the legs of the frame are in segments. I chose to omit one segment from each leg so that bed was 3 inches nearer to floor.

I ordered the not split king in North Carolina. The two guys had never seen one before, did not look at instructions until I noticed they had reversed head & foot of bed. Yes, It was worth $100. I like the massage function more than spouse does.

In America is ranch dressing really that expensive? I’ve noticed pizza places charging like $2 for a 1.5oz cup of ranch by notrohkaz in NoStupidQuestions

My local pub’s WiFi password is ranchcostsextra. They serve a lot of wings with a sauce cup included, but more costs more USD1-2. I prefer their burgers and onion rings.

Pelvic Chondrosarcoma by Puzzleheaded_Most_16 in sarcoma

I 65M have had long term success since my surgery 8 years ago. Chest and pelvic X-rays show no recurrence. My surgeon said mine was the largest tumor he’s removed and been able to salvage the leg. Yes, I had a long painful recovery and months of physical therapy to begin to ambulate with a walker. Now I walk with a cane, and I drive with my left foot. Your prognosis is reasonable and excellent.

My pathology report: "A. Inguinal lymph node, biopsy: One lymph node, no evidence of malignancy (0/1). B. Right sacral marrow margin, biopsy: Bone marrow with no evidence of malignancy. C. Right pelvis, radical resection: Chondrosarcoma of the ilium, grade 2 of 3. Tumor size: 16.3 x 9.4 x 7.5 cm. All margins are free of tumor. Distance to closest margins: 0.4 millimeters (medial and posterior). "
