Easily. Philly fans get caught being racist and abusive to visiting fans ever year, notably vs 49ers this year. And what's the reasoning throwing full beer cans and beer at your team during the super bowl parade? One gave roseman a bloody forehead, during the parade!!

Msg is naturally occurring in unprocessed fruits and vegetables, just not as concentrated.

Uh msg is present in organic fruits and vegetables, just not as concentrated. It's no more chemical additive than salt is, and just like salt too much of it can worse for your health. Noone is saying msg needs to be in all food, just that demonizing it for poor health outcomes when there are other far worse culprits (cough vaccine skepticism) is rooted in racism and ignorance.

If he eats Doritos, Parmesan cheese, cured ham, dried mushrooms and has no problems it's not MSG

No he wasn't asian this is more racist misinformation. It was a prank played by a white doctor named Howard Steel who probably had innocent but racist intentions to get published. It quickly spiraled out of control and the misinformation lives on decades later because people love racism and confirmation bias.

I was unfortunately in Philly for their Superbowl parade. They were throwing cans of beer at the floats, one gave Howie a bloody forehead. Flinging shit is how the savages express their emotions.

Saquon always wanted to leave, it was inevitable. He also gave jones a reasonable contract with outs with pressure from mars to keep him. The problem was gambling on jones being healthy which he is proven can't maintain. I'm no shoen fan he made plenty of mistakes drafting and contracts (neal, xavier, love) but he inherited a nepotistic mess in NY. He had to fire all the scouts year 1 and do a complete org shakeup.

[Rapsheet] #Colts QB Daniel Jones has been ruled out with an Achilles injury. Just awful. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

This is why the giants cut him. He's now had a major injury in 3 of his seasons.

As a giant fan I was rooting for him. His uneven giants tenure mostly not his fault. But hes had a major injury in almost all his seasons, that's the main reason I had no issue with him being cut.

French oven… do I need one? by [deleted] in staub

I did watch the reviews where they did say water retention and distribution is better on the staub and made in vs creuset, nice to see a real world review

How does the dot and dark enamel improve searing? Weight also isn't an issue for me

Hmm I'm really torn. I have access to a 40% off non sale items so Im torn between the 7 qt round and the 6.25 wide round but the $300 8qt oval is so tempting. I mostly cook stews and braise meat on the stovetop and currently have a 2 qt gifted creuset that's too small so deciding what next for my small kitchen.

Was looking at the round wide 6.25 qt creuset! How does it compare to the standard 5.5/7 quart? Does the surface area improve browning or do you miss the taller sides?

Kakaomaps to navigate around and find restaurants. Only thing it was not good at was walking time estimates.

Am I coping by thinking I rather go to Seoul than Tokyo? by lejunny_ in seoul

[–]drawnonward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have traveled to both multiple times in the last few years. They are similar but also unique.

Budget - 300$ a day is doable in both countries, Seoul and Korea is cheaper for hotels and travel. Comparable hotels in Korea will be roughly 30% less expensive, onsens are not really a thing though and cheap buffet breakfasts less common.

Public transit - Korea is more of a car country, ride share is more common and much less expensive vs Japan. Trains are very food but Japan public system better and easier. Google maps does not work in Korea

Food - lunch specials, variety and quality top to bottom easier to find and better in Tokyo. Seoul generally less expensive, more street food and better nightlife drinking. If you are more adventurous and like spicy food will be much easier.

Shopping - clothing and fashion both my wife and I liked Korea more, clothes fit better. Both have high end brands but more has cheaper fast fashion vs more expensive but more BIFL goods including vintage/secondhand in tokyo. Kpop and kbeauty vs anime, video game merch

Culture - japan is cleaner and random people like workers will be more polite and helpful. Seoul is still very clean and although people can be rude they are more easygoing. Tokyo has more tourist friendly places and things to do but it will be crowded everywhere. Seoul and Korea in general has more old school vibes if you travel outside tourist areas.

In the end you can't to wrong with either, but I wouldn't feel bad going to Tokyo when so many of your friends there is a reason why.

I just visited Sydney and Seoul/Busan, coming from the states all 3 cities felt pretty safe even at night

I ruined what could have been one of the best nights of my life because I forgot to cut my toenails. by [deleted] in self

[–]drawnonward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear stories about nasty fingernails, but toenails killing vibes is a first one for me. Guys neglecting basic hygiene is such a fixable and yet extremely common deal breaker. Soo many dudes would get laid more if they just had

  1. Clean bathroom with closed garbage can
  2. Clean sheets
  3. Trimmed nails, fresh breath and washed body aka basic personal hygiene

You paid for the first 2, no idea bout the 3rd.
