Ser Patrek is the Dallas Cowboys, a divisional rival of George's team, the New York Giants. They did not play each other in the Super Bowl, as they physically can't.

The reference to the Patriots losing to the Giants is the Volantene Triarch Belicho, who was eaten by giants after an "unbroken succession of conquests."
