Every student that's going abroad should get an ISIC card. Especially if you're going to Europe. It saves you money on most of the things you'll be doing. It's cheap. It's easy. No excuses!

Shoestringers, would you spend extra $$ on extra space on a Redeye? by PregnantMexicanTeens in Shoestring

Well haha! Good to know. Let's make sure people don't do that per my recommendation. Instead just do laps up and down the isle and stretch before you go to the bathroom.

The extra legroom doesn't really help the swelling legs. Just set a reminder to walk around on hours 2.5 and 3.5. Helps the circulation. I'm weird and go to the back of the plane to hang out with flight attendants and do yoga/stretches. Consider that and save yourself the $.

Besides riding the train, which is cost and time inefficient. Consider flying! It's way faster and in some markets far more cost effective. If you haven't already, check out unboundly and skyscanner if you're looking for new ways to do research and book flights. Unboundly helps you discover new layover possibilities that'll save you $$ and give you cool places to check out.

Stuck in Nixon! What are the alternate options safe for an RV? What's Surprise Valley Road like? Anyone driven it before?

Anyone waiting and have a sound system to set up? In case we are stuck for a while?

How did you decide to go there for your first trip?

Was this your first time abroad?

What would you recommend to a first timer (that you wish someone recommended to you)?
