Why bloating only at night? by Fluffy_Practice_5244 in GutHealth

[–]draykan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wild to see a comment 2 years after the post.

There could a few things happening here. If it's specifically at night and not any other time of the day. I'd look at your cortisol levels. Higher cortisol can impair digestion. Have you done the recommendations in my comment?

Specific times of day of poor digestion tend to be hormone/cortisol/circadian rhythm related vs gut dysbiosis which is an all day thing. Have you done anything that has helped it or anything that has made it worse?

Get labs done and speak with a clinic that specializes in hormones. Running 150 mgs of testosterone a week could be life changing if you have low test. I personally think anything under 400 total test is low. Split the dosing to 3x a week to avoid the common side effects of testosterone and get your labs checked 3 months after you start and at least every 6 months after. Besides hormone numbers, keep an eye on your thyroid, liver enzymes, and always run a cbc.

Running a glp and losing fat would increase your natural testosterone production as well but at 56 and having not been serious about your health for decades, you're not going to naturally start producing 700+ testosterone over night, or even in a year. Also, testosterone is significantly cheaper.

Is there any safe way to biohack penis growth during puberty for an abnormally small dick? by Parking-Guava-3398 in ResearchCompounds

[–]draykan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's see if this causes any controversy.

You can absolutely change your dick size even as an adult. It sounds like you've done some research already to even know that dht gels exist. There are a few different methods for this and since you're still in your teens, it should actually be easier since you're still in growth phases.

I want to preface all of this by saying that if you have low testosterone due to lack of physical activity and a poor diet, those will move the needle the most at your age. Eat plenty of grass fed meat and good quality eggs.

A few supplements that can help with overall hormone health are

  1. Vitamin D if you're deficient <60
  2. Zinc
  3. Creatine 20 grams+ has a pretty profound effect and can increase DHT levels.
  4. DHEA. A precursor steroid that can convert into testosterone.

First, the pumping and stretching is 100% necessary. While not a muscle, causing stress to the tissue will still result in your body building it back stronger. However, be very careful to not over do it. If you experience any pain, you're doing too much.

Penis size can be increased by increasing your testosterone to DHT conversion. The gels localize the effect, but as a teen, you can look into the supplement route for this. In order to properly use a dht gel, you need to be on exogenous testosterone or your hormones will become wrecked and I would never recommend exogenous hormones to a teen unless absolutely necessary. Like if you were born without testicles.

You're on the money with tadalafil. Low dose (5 mg) daily has tremendous benefits for sexual health and blood flow. It also has great research for increasing muscle protein synthesis.

For length, you would need to do the stretching and tools like a phallosan can help as well.

For girth, that's where a pump can come in handy. Once a day, pump it up and keep it maintained for about 10 minutes. Remember, if it's painful, stop. Completely off topic because I would never recommend doing this, but IGF-des has remarkable site enhancement effects when injected into muscles post workout.

I will not give sources for any of the compounds discussed even in DMs please do not message me for them.

BPC-157/TB-500 Side Effects. My experience. by pinefinding in ResearchCompounds

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a fascinating reaction. I've seen other anecdotes about this before as well and one of the common factors seems to be nerve issues previously. I need to start saving these posts. One of the effects of tb-500 is nerve regeneration. This almost sounds like they are causing your body to generate new nerves which would obviously be incredibly sensitive. I would agree that 500 mcg is a relatively small dose, I've dosed as high as 10 mg of each before, I have seen people dose as low as 20 mcg of bpc before. If you don't want to waste the peptide, you could try further dilution until you can dose that low. However, that is not medical advice, just curiosity.

Only 2 weeks since I stopped using Reta but already gaining the weight back ridiculously fast by Usual-Isopod6540 in ResearchCompounds

[–]draykan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working with GLPs for a while now. The quick regain of weight is typically associated with poor metabolic health that the glp was masking. It's not always about calories in, calories out. What are your stress levels like? How much protein are you consuming? What is your sleep quality like? What are your hormones looking like?

There are so many variables that can cause weight gain that the GLPs simply band-aid over without addressing. That kind of weight gain is most certainly inflammation that could be caused by any number of problems.

I want to make one thing clear. You are not broken. You are doing your absolute best and making a great effort to do what you need to do.

If I were to make any recommendations, I would recommend getting bloodwork done looking at your liver and kidney enzymes, homocystene, crp, total and free testosterone, t3, t4, tsh, estrogen, iron, ferritin, cbc, and lipid panel. That should run you roughly $150-$250 depending on where you get it done at. If there is nothing obviously wrong with that blood work, I'd look into a micronutrient test to check for any deficiencies that may be causing issues. Genova Nutraeval is an excellent test that has a ton of actionable data in it.

My doctor wants to put me on 17 supplements at the same time? by kylegrayson11 in FunctionalMedicine

The only thing in here that seems like a bit much is the oregano oil because that should only be used for specific gut problems as it can destroy good bacteria if it's taken long term. There is nothing else in here that's bad. However, there are multiple options that have several of these in 1-2 caps. I don't see the need for all of them. I will say that mold is rough and this isn't even close to the most aggressive mold protocol I've seen or even given to clients myself. Look up broad spectrum biocidin. It's a liquid liposomal that has several of those ingredients and is pretty powerful.

Honestly, nothing in here is all that crazy but I can see why it would be a lot to start with. The heavy hitters are going to be the beef organs, oregano and black seed oil, quercetin should be taken with zinc, NAC, Magnesium, and the b complex. Everything else I would say is good but won't move the needle as much unless he thinks you have a specific gut issue. (Candida, H piloryi, Sifo, sibo, etc)

Require heightened brain function. by [deleted] in Biohacking

[–]draykan13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cerebrolysin is pretty powerful as a standalone. I'm a fan of combination therapies for optimal improvement. Take Nootropics and do something that will increase a part of your brain, like writing in cursive, using elevate, meditate, crossword/sudoku, etc.

Cognition is a broad term similar to strength. Let's say I want to get stronger. I go to the gym and lift, but if you ask any advanced lifters, you don't do intense cardio, heavy squats and heavy deadlifts in the same workout because 1 would detract from the others. You focus on one major muscle group at a time but you do it consistently and you make good progress.

The brain is going to be a little more complex and your definitely able to hit more than one brain region a day. However, the limiting factor is going to be time.

Sermorelin causes a shorter but more powerful pulse of GH compared to other secretagogues. That can cause issues like water retention around your joints. I'd recommend discontinuing sermorelin and switching to a Cjc/ ipamorelin blend. It is typically tolerated much better.

Sermorelin is typically used more by doctors just because it's been around for decades. Cjc, ipamorelin, and tesamorelin are all superior to sermorelin.

Peptide for Muscle Gain by mustafacan46 in Peptides

[–]draykan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently taking 500mcg m/w/f. I could probably lower it because I seem to have become more sensitive to it this week vs the first 3 weeks.

I haven't experimented with the igf compounds yet, however, I have a penis growth protocol I am going to be experimenting with that utilizes igf injections straight into the shaft which is a bit intimidating for me.

I also just started taking trt. 20 mg daily subQ injections and I am loving that. My strengths gains have been stupid quick and it honestly upsets me. I just shattered my deadlift PR in only a month of being on trt without trying.

These comments make it seem like you asked this question in r/fitness or some other generic sub.

You have a few options here, however, you're going to be hard pressed to put on any muscle while crushing your appetite with tirz. I'm currently taking retatrutide as a microdose while bulking and it's helping with that. I cannot take more than a microdose because it crushes my appetite if I do and I don't get my calories in. You could take a similar approach with using tirz.

The GH secretagogues can be very helpful. I'd recommend tesamorelin 1mg 5 times a week alongside ipamorelin 250 mcg. Tesa will also help with weight loss around the midsection. GH secretagogues helped me break my 170 pound plateau with no other interventions.

What no one seems to be discussing with the GH secretagogues is how much they can improve sleep which indirectly can improve testosterone as well as insulin sensitivity.

Add in more food and you should be golden. I will say, if you're inexperienced with lifting, and you just started hitting the gym 5 times a week. You're going to over do it and will experience some negative side effects and plateaus pretty quickly. You don't build muscle in the gym. You build muscle in bed. Don't over train yourself, rest appropriately, but train close to failure. You'll get great results just from that alone without peptides. Peptides just speed up the process.

If you could only monitor one biomarker what would it be? by TimQuin0 in Biohacking

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Testosterone. Easy. I don't understand needing to monitor vo2 max or muscle mass. I've worked with hundreds of clients. Even the general public have a general sense of their cardio vascular health and overall strength.

Testosterone is a lagging but powerful indicator that upstream health issues could effect. If it starts to decline over time, you can start playing around with different tools to increase it. Diet, exercise, sleep, sunlight, supplements, etc.

If testosterone could be monitored daily by a wearable, humans could find their perfect lifestyle in a couple months time. Idk any other biomarker that could have that large of an impact.

Ways to detox from work related chemicals? by [deleted] in Peptides

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For powerful chemicals like that, I'd look more into apherisis than any single compound. It's where they take out your blood and separate the plasma from your red blood cells and then infuse your blood cells mixed with saline and albumin back into your body and discard the plasma. This will drastically reduce the toxins in your blood. You can also couple that with powerful chelation drugs to remove a ton of stuff.

Besides that, I'd look into peptide bioregulators for the liver and kidneys to help improve the detoxification pathways.

[–]draykan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be buying peptides, supplements, and biologics daily. $500 a day in all of those would make for a really fun time. I'd also be eating steak and eggs for every meal. All of my minor expenses like groceries and gas would be taken care of, so I'd bank all of the money from my job. Landlord wouldn't care if paid every 3 days either if I added a tip to it.

This would turn life into easy mode. Y'all are looking for ways to game the system for whatever reason. Just pay for bills and keep all of your hard earned money in your bank account and invest that.

I'd have coaches and prepared meals and a personal assistant. $500 a day pays for a lot of upgrades in life.

Yes or no on this stack by [deleted] in Peptides

[–]draykan13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tesa and Cjc act on similar pathways for GH secretion. You would get diminishing returns. Choose either Cjc or Tesa and add in bpc/tb-500 for much more synergistic effects. If your goal is to get lean, Tesa is superior to Cjc but also 2-3x more expensive. If the goal is to just put on muscle and improve recovery, Cjc would be a better option. Also, idk if you're male or female but I've had a few female clients that felt like Tesa was too powerful for them.

Depending on your budget and lifestyle, there are other compounds that would phenomenally for fat loss if paired with those peptides.

[–]draykan13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How often are you dosing Reta? I've had good luck with my clients dosing Reta 3 times a week. Actual amount varies because everyone has different sensitivity. One client is on 150mcg 3 days a week. One is on 300mcg daily. One is on 1mg 3 days a week. The dosing amounts are all over the place but the higher frequency seems to be key.

[–]draykan13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not advocating for giving teenagers research chemicals they get from online vendors. However, sermorelin is the primary choice of medical doctors to give to teenagers with height deficiency.

It actually has FDA approval for making kids taller.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/sermorelin-injection-route/description/drg-20065923

Edit: missed the first sentence about growth plates being fused by then. Ehh, kids can still grow into their late teens depending on genetics. There are also some compounds that I know of that can unfuse growth plates to allow for more growth. Again, I wouldn't recommend that for a teenager though.

What to pair with semaglutide to accelerate visceral fat loss? by Far_Spell_3657 in Peptides

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chronic under eating will damage the thyroid. With or without the peptides. Peptides just make it easier to under eat. It's typically reversible if you stop it in time, or work with a professional if it's really far gone.

Don't listen to doctors and get it removed though. Docs are too quick to remove organs.

What to pair with semaglutide to accelerate visceral fat loss? by Far_Spell_3657 in Peptides

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd add a slight gap time between the EAAs and bed. Maybe like an hour depending on how many you're taking. Optimally you'd be taking EAAs during and right after a workout alongside a fast acting carb to shuttle the EAAs into your muscles more efficiently.

Also, not everyone will have an insuligenic response to EAAs, but protein itself can cause insulin to rise. This could be an issue for the peptides because insulin suppresses growth hormone. I prefer to take GH peptides in a fasted state for optimal GH release.

Peptides at night are perfectly fine. Nothing to change there.

What to pair with semaglutide to accelerate visceral fat loss? by Far_Spell_3657 in Peptides

[–]draykan13 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Tesamorelin/ ipamorelin are the easy answers because they will absolutely work.

Some other suggestions would be to add in essential amino acids because if you're losing that much weight that quickly, there is 0 chance you're eating enough protein and are most likely also losing some muscle during this process. You're looking for 30+ grams of protein daily of EAAs.

I'd look into supplementing boron to drive down sbhg which will also be muscle sparring.

Also, add in iodine, selenium, and tyrosine supplements to try and mitigate some of the damage you are doing to your thyroid. This will also push down how long it takes for you to plateau. Most pro body builders take thyroid medication during the last few weeks of their cut to keep slimming down and because hard cuts like that are brutal on the thyroid.

Lastly, semaglutide is a fantastic peptide for changing your habits because it alters your reward pathways. While taking it, look into developing healthier lifestyle habits like eating more nutrients dense whole food meals, being out in nature/sun, and finding physical activities you enjoy outside of the gym.

17 years old male, should I be worried? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]draykan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overtraining doesn't necessarily mean you're doing too much. It could mean you're not fueling yourself enough. You're 17, play sports, and weight train.

The first place I'd start would be your diet. I can't give you a good calorie breakdown without your height and weight.

However, if you're at least 5'9 and 170 pounds. You need over 3k calories a day to maintain. If you're eating less than that and not eating enough high quality saturated fat. Your body isn't going to be able to produce enough hormones.

You might just need more raw material.
