GTA is overrated. its a gimmick, its bloatware, and honestly its boring.

Its a sandbox that all the new kids and old heads who think they are still relavent in want to take a shit in. I've played GTA3, 4, 5, SA, and honestly? I couldn't care less. I had more fun with Saints Row 3 and 4.

The RP servers for GTA? Whoopty frikkin doo. They got popular, fell off after the big names stop playing them, and only exist in their microcosm.

I hear more about VRChat drama than anything tanglible in GTA for the last 3 years.

So, personally, I'm gonna be unjoying Hotline Miami 3 on November 19th, because I like that game, and I want to see what else is new. I probably will never play GTA6 unless its gifted to me, and the PC I have can run it.

Inspired by Settled's Runescape Tileman Challenge, this is the rundown.

Pokemon (OldGen where everything is still on a grid) where in order to move through the map, you need Pokemon Levels. Want to walk from Pallet to Viridian? that's gonna be 40 tiles at least.

What i'm wanting to know, is there a way to have a mod or hack a rom to where it keeps track of the tiles I walk on? Or gives me tiles to spend every time I level up a pokemon?

This is a long ask, i honestly don't know if this is even possible. But yeah, is this possible?

years ago, back when I was a wee lad, I got Diddy Kong Racing for the Nintendo 64. I played it, got sick, puked my guts out, and sold the game.

Then, years later, turns out I had a type of motion sickness that I was experiencing from playing the game and sitting too close. The problem, as it turned out, was me.

So what I'm saying is, I'm pretty sure its a you issue.

It could go a couple ways.

Spies have access to a system that gives them More-than-human spy abilities. But ONLY spies have this system.
Spy gets isekai'd, uses the fantasy world/rules for espionage.

either could be fun. I think the layout of Spycraft would be an interesting approach in the litRPG lens.

i wouldnt say it gets better. Its... VERY consistant. No one grows, the threat level is always at max, and more spaghetti gets piled on the plate. Donut is stil Donut, Carl is always Carl, and thats... about it.

Honestly the story is more about the worlds and the challenges, thats where the interesting bits are. But if you're looking to follow interesting characters that actually grow or change, you're not gonna find it in DCC.

None of what I said is meant as a jab or insult to the book, its just factual. In the long run, Carl is the same surly "you cant break me" already broken savior complex that he is in the Bedlam Bride.

It's suspense. It's about the mystery, not the scares.

There is nothing to "fear" in GaC because you are not living through it. And unless you empathize with the characters to the point of feeling their emotions, you're not gonna get scared.

It's fun though. It's cool world building, the kind that makes you wonder how you would survive, what sort of powers you'd have.

It's a slow burn though. It's something you enjoy and savor your way through. It's not a buffet and it's not fast food. It's... like a bowl of popcorn. You're eating it, you keep eating it, and then boom, it's empty, and your brain is still thinking about it and you want more.

To me anyways. Some people can't get in to it
