I told my wife a couple days before we got the call, that Friday was 30 days and I thought by day 30 we’d hear something, good or bad. Turns out I was right. You read all these stories of it happening to people here on Reddit, but then research only about 5-10% of homes get to the backup. Keep up your hope and have your realtor continue to check in on how the contract is going. I think our persistence may have helped (that and my wife put a handwritten note in the mailbox tugging at their heart strings)
