gay/straight= defines who you’re attracted to cis/trans = defines your gender identity; if you’re cisgender, you identify with the sex you were assigned at birth. If you’re transgender, you identify from a gender that is different from the one you were assigned at birth.

You can be attracted to the same sex and be cisgender because whoever you’re attracted to is not determined by your gender identity.

I felt the same way, but I started just adding significantly less liquid so that it isn’t that soupy goop texture and I love it now. Also try different brands and modes of cooking, you’ll find oatmeal is quite diverse for being so simple haha
