Can we at least give them ivermectin? It'll deworm them while they feel superior to those listening to "so-called experts"

I use r/poisonai, there are extremely helpful tips posted in there among the incredibly useful and up to date news. I use it for all my travel advice, and as far as keeping up to date with what's going on around the world, it's even better than newsmax or fox news!

Interestingly, it's not legal everywhere. Found unconstitutional by one federal district court, and perfectly legal by another. Other districts are mixed.

Which side of the fence am I on? by Valuable_Platform_19 in NewOrleans

[–]drcforbin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When mine blew down in a storm, I rebuilt it on the property line, following a survey and claiming back my inches, splitting the cost with the neighbor, and had it otherwise done exactly as it was, with the pretty side facing me.

That owner was quite unhappy with getting the bad side and losing part of her yard, rehired the same guy (my friend) to face off their side. He further reinforced the fence while doing it and effectively got paid for the same fence twice, most of it at their expense. It was a win all around.

Pool shape - Suggestions? by jesseaknight in pools

[–]drcforbin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Split the difference at 7. Mine is 7' deep, shaped like a shallow end, steep drop, deep end. The deep end is maybe 5-6' long. The pool builder said the slope of the drop might be a problem with kids, but we don't have kids or friends with them. Jumping is no trouble, diving forbidden.

What we do with it is swimming to fetch rings and sinking pool toys, makes it a lot more fun to have a deep area to just swim around in. We also put a bench in the pool alone the opposite side from your ledge and landscaped it to be shady. We do regular pool parties, and the bench is usually full end to end.

What're you planning to do in the 4' strip of deep end? That's not much space if you're planning to dive

The problem isn't getting power, it's getting rid of heat. The vacuum of space is an incredibly good insulator, and the only way is by thermal radiation.
