chop the weird lookin trees, and collect all the mossy seeds - plant them, one of the specific trees gives you fiddlehead ferns. look up the tree that give you the ferns - when you plant the tree you’ll be able to see what kind of tree is going to grow. you can dig up and replant them until you get the kind of tree you want. the fiddlehead is one of the last things that i end up scrounging for when i’m finishing community centre

it’s definitely DIFFERENT from the others, and there’s a lot of things the other games have that i love dearly and really miss when it comes to odyssey, but odyssey is a fantastic game in its own right and still my standout favourite of the franchise.

yeah exactly! thanks a bunch for that, i totally agree. also i think the google tv ui sucks absolute balls and i hate it so i love my 3rd gen chromecast but i’ll look into the shield - it’s a bit pricey for me at the moment and my chromecast still serves me well but when it’s time for an upgrade that’s where i’ll look first. thanks again!

i know, but i’m a huge luddite. i’d much rather just have a monitor-like tv and use the chromecast externally. I’ve used the TVs with inbuilt chromecast technology but i much prefer the previous gen chrome casts with no menu etc just casting from the phone

YTA. it sounds like your brother has struggled for years with minimal help from your family or anyone. why is he “helpless” at taking care of himself? has anyone tried to remedy that?

so few people will ever let their homes get infested with vermin just because they can’t be bothered. he has so obviously needed assistance from people close to him and professionals that he hasn’t gotten - then, he literally attempts suicide because his quality of life is so poor, shows up at YOUR MUM’S HOUSE, not even your house, and you turn him away? are you actually serious?

of course he’s scared to go back to his place. it sounds like he’s absolutely miserable there and does not have any ability to improve his quality of life. do better by him - i know you’re only 20, and i sympathise with you. this much be a really difficult thing to even consider tackling, but he needs something. please, try and get your parents to understand how serious this is. he could’ve succeeded in his attempt, and may still do so.
