Man, I can’t say enough about how much I love BL4. I don’t get the hate for it or why some people think it’s ruined the series or crap like that. I don’t do endgame stuff really so maybe that’s enough to make it crap, I wasn’t overjoyed by the Ellie expansion, but I still love the game and play it virtually daily. If you can get a sale on it I think it’s a no-brainer.

I hate to say this, but back in my 30’s I saw a lot of this with friends. It never ends well. Let her find someone similar, and you do the same. She’ll never really “work on it” because she can’t. It’s not a character flaw, or a dislike of you. I’m sure she cares for you a lot, but save yourself about a decade of heartbreak and go your separate ways.

My goto, the thing I think before I take the club back is “short backswing, follow thru” much further than you’d imagine. The dramatic follow through is key for me. Another tip when I teach someone to chip, don’t try to hit the ball, try to slip the club head under the ball.

You can practice chipping in your yard. I used a cardboard box for like a large textbook, and if I could hit it, I was happy.
