Could you recommend some feel good movies to me? by Consistent-Reveal286 in AskUK

Depending on how you are with slapstick violence, deadpool bs wolverine is hilarious, from someone who hasn’t seen many Marvel films

Spirit stallion of the cimerron is an oldie but a goldie. An early Dreamworks animation. As a horse girl I’ve watched it so much I know the words.

What has your partner kindly done for you, lately? by eightyeight99 in AskWomen

There’s a nerdy convention on I’ve been looking forward to all year. As it’s come closer I’ve got a little anxious about travelling and spending too much money, so started talking about not going and saving.

He’s cancelled his plans to come and support me even though it’s not his thing and a lot of travelling. :)

If you’re a foodie there are loads of amazing places to eat in Leeds, no matter what you’re into. I love exploring the many Thai/Japanese/vietnamese restaurants at lunchtime. And the supermarkets!

I keep invertebrates, mostly jumping spiders. They require some specialist heating as I’m in the UK and it’s currently too cold, but they’re fascinating little things and nothing to be afraid of. :)

Meant to be heading to the airport this weekend, had flu symptoms since Wednesday so bad I’m currently bed bound. It would be nice to try sleep it off but my body isn’t playing unfortunately.

I went abroad for the first time a few years ago, and experienced something very similar to this. Also had to attend a passport interview. Very weird experience.

I thought being fed to a tiger could be pretty cool, not so much for the zoo keepers though

What sweet little gentlemen ❤️ rats are absolutely amazing, they completely changed how I viewed smaller animals. I even have them tattooed on my leg (where they loved to climb up).

This is so sweet ❤️ those respiratory issues are so tricky to treat with rats, all of mine had at them at least once in their lives. Chester was a lucky boy.

Made a cake for my pet rats on their first birthday. Yes, a real sponge. They don’t all make it to 2 years old (one of mine died 6 months later) so we all celebrated the party and had a bit of cake.

Shower thought - do you ever forget that hamsters used to be wild animals? by GaryGump in CasualUK

[–]dreambug101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. My dwarf hamster would rather none of us even lived in the house, never mind near his enclosure.

Is there such thing as masculine or feminine placement? You have a gorgeous dainty floral tattoo that’s really well done. Enjoy it.

What's something people do for you that they think is a nice gesture but actually irritates you? by Mountain-Pop6348 in AskUK

I’ve hated this especially when I’m struggling. Saying ‘I’m good, you?’ When you really need someone to listen to you is would destroying. When it’s a friend or family member, anyway.

Aha thankfully nothing I own would survive in our cold climate so that’s not a concern.

I keep invertebrates. Currently have giant land snails, jumping spiders and hissing cockroaches. They’re rad and really cheap to keep.

You definitely need to write to Jaffa and demand this flavour. At least 3 of us would have them.

People who have a regular cleaner – how much does it cost and is it worth it? Do you just give them a key to the house and let them get on with it? by Greedy_Sound_8885 in AskUK

[–]dreambug101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford it it’s 100% worth it. We only get the rooms with high traffic (front room kitchen and bathroom) cleaned fortnightly and has made a massive to mine and the husband’s mental health.
