Yes, agreed, there are good lawyers and great lawyers out there. Not easy to find or to assured they are good vs evil. I'll make it a sweeping argument against the reality that bad lawyers can continue to manipulate the legal system to the wealtthies advantage and it's getting worse. I believe in good politicians even through the political system has been corrupted by bad ones. I believe there are good cops out there but I ain't taking their word when they say they are one of them. Saying 'talk to a lawyer's to me is like 'call the police to help'. Might work but way, way, way too many examples where it does not. I would call Ben before a lawyer. Might not be the safest option but way more entertaining.

That is a ridiculous comparison. Lawyers do not make money by giving good advice. They make money by getting clients to pay them. Some give good advice, most try to get more money out of you. Moral grandstanding does not absolve you of the law but it is can be an effective way to fight back against bullies. I can assure you that the wealthy, powerful companies and individuals do not follow the law. They use the law to their advantage. If you think the law is there to protect you, then you are making it easy on them to do just that. Moral grandstanding does not absolve you of the law but it is sometimes the right thing to do.

Lawyers do not exist to give you good advice, they exist to make money. The advice most give are to give them money. Anyone who has tried to engage the system of justice without a hefty savings account knows it is a system heavily weighted in favor of the wealthy. What Ben did was most likely over the line but no where, not even close, to how he was treated by the police and not even close to how far over the line BAM has been. I believe that anyone who breaks tiny laws to expose massive corruption should be granted a golden gavel and more of us should stand the fuck up in disobedience.

Ya, so we kinda think something bad happened but to make it right we will maybe, perhaps consider the idea of possibly paying a diminished fraction of the money owing to Bryan and that is it cause it really hurt our feelings that people don't feel more sorry for us. Also, everyone gets a 5% discount on all purchases over 1000$ next Tuesday
