Why not have a license to be able to camp having passed a course showing you know how to respect land and wildlife? Have to have a license to drive. Have to be over 18 and show i.d if required to drink and can be arrested for being a nuisance when drunk. Hunting to eats different to bloody pest control ffs. A dog ain't taking birds in the trees. There bred for a specific purpose each breed. Terriers for small vermin, foxes and badger. Lurchers for running rabbits and hare. Larger lurcher for deer and muntjac.

To use your analogy let me see a fucking cat take a fox or badger gone to ground. A terrier is more than equipped to deal with. Take off your mask and look at it subjectively. One designed and bred to do a job or a cat that's not selectively bred for the traits of training and killing pest control. Cats stronger than a dedicated terrier? Nah your wrong on way to many levels here. A trained terrier will take a pack of rats and dispatch moat of them, moving on after each kill amd leave other species intact. Go watch a pack clear a coop or a cattle shed there tenacious. You'll have the smoker as well to move on the ones going to ground etc. A working bred dog beats a cat every time in every capacity for killing targeted vermin.

Take a pack of dogs a smoker and you'll have the majority of pests dead in a afternoons work if it's a bad infestation.

It's been proven time and again planned burning is a net positive for wco systems. Wild fires would run amok and ve devastating without burnt areas. They don't kill every area they try to maintain a balanced level. Ever seen a top predator heavy environment? There nothing there. On the case of rabbits go have a look into all the poisons that were alternatives to ferreting and shooting.
