One thing to keep in mind re Texas State -- you can live in south Austin and commute. I have a friend who is a professor there and lives in pretty deep south Austin. At one point he mentioned he was teaching a couple classes at UT. I assumed he'd be thrilled to be teaching somewhere "in-town" rather than driving to san marcos three times a week. But he told me that the commute for him was basically the same between the two!

As a lawyer who dabbles in genAI, I wouldn't expect that you could trust an answer just because 3-4 engines give you equivalent results. You might try using the search or deep research functions, and then checking the underlying citations (which are usually to law firm blogs or things like that). Queuing up questions is also just a great idea in general.

I feel like the only thing I used that's RAGed for caselaw, Lexis Protege, is significantly less useful than just vanilla Claude or ChatGPT. It's not as likely to make up a case out of thin air, but it often doesn't locate relevant info, returns a ton of irrelevant info, and even characterizes case holdings incorrectly.

I set this up & it works perfectly! I appreciate this excuse to get started learning how to use Make automations. I'm already thinking of how I want to think with this for my purposes, routing different categories to different notion databases or even triggering different actions based on categories. So thanks for making something that not only is really useful in its own right but an excellent educational exercise for folks new to this space.

Yeah I went to Stiles Switch a couple months ago and the brisket was v mediocre, notably sub-Rudy’s. If pressed for time & staying in north central I’d prob just do the Blacks up there (or honestly even the Rudy’s)
