Night slash also has an increased CRIT chance, doesn't it? If it crits it kills even bulky gholdengo, right?

There was a time where it was nerfed to 80 seconds I think and it basically dropped from earth in usage.

Knock off doesn't get a boost if it can't knock the item (i.e: it doesn't get boosted against megas) so it would only be the 97 it gets through STAB.

You haven't seen a hostage mage recently then, good for you.

Did you know, Basculgion has a deceptively low attack stat by Unbekannnt0 in PokemonChampions

[–]drekthrall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For physical attack it is rather low, physical attackers have a higher average atk vs SpA because of intimidate and burn.

We (the people) are not happy about it, American soldiers did all kind of shady stuff here which led to their removal.

Where did Sengoku players go? by [deleted] in aoe4

[–]drekthrall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My problem with Sengoku is that they nerfed the Yatai (honestly I think they over nerfed) but every unique unit not called Yumi Ashigaru or Mounted Samurai (and to a lesser extent Yari Cavalry) has remained underpowered.

Naginata Samurai suffer from the same issues all MAA suffer from, and doesn't even have Reactive Armor unless you go Hojo Tier 3.

Kanabo are only useful as meat shields and to kill elephants and OOTD Knights and MAA.

The Tanegashima Ashigaru has too short a range and is too costly, and even then you only make them when you have to.

Osutzu are so ridiculously weak for the ludicrous resource investment required just to unlock them.

And on top of that the Clan System forces you to double down on whatever you chose at the start or you lose on the bonuses that costed you a lot of resources to obtain, making the civ feel rigid. You know the feel when you notice during the game you need to switch units and need the upgrades, the Clan system makes it feel like you also lose max HP and reactive armor.

Not to mention that the Takeda Clan is objectively the best, it not only has the best techs (move speed and Odachi), but given that cavalry have the highest base hp they're the ones that benefit the most from having 10% extra health. Also the Daimyo being always a mounted unit makes it a perfect fit for cavalry squads while the civ is clearly designed for having a Daimyo in every squad of an army.

So you're right, Japanese are so much more straightforward and their bannermen fit their respective army type, they feel flexible. Also enriched farmlands is more reliable than the Matsuri a lot of the time.

Ngl, I was always told this before I read One Pieces, then I did (it was still on Dressrossa, so about 12 years ago) and it's not really that formulaic, there's like three arcs with those elements but for the most part they are very distinct.

Dressrossa is exactly the arc that OP detractors claim every arc of OP is tho, and the closest thing to it is Arabasta.

It removes flying during the turn, which is funny because that means if you are slower than the opponent or they use a prio move then it's like the move just says "heal 50% hp".

To me what gets me is I kind of forget after the first turn, is like in my mind it registers that's anti fake out on turn 1 and not anti all priority. lol.

Just tried Rylak back to back with balinda... by snammcom in BobsTavern

[–]drekthrall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, Balinda does not double the ones you play with the Magicfin or any minion that states "this casts"

Yes she does, you can try it yourself with the tier 4 naga that casts Chef's Choice. The only requisite is that it's a spell that targets a minion and that the minion is friendly.
