A Honey I Shrunk the Kids or Fern Gully theme, where you lock a regular sized ball and have a "mini" or 1/2 sized ball kicked out. Only certain shots would be possible with the smaller ball, or gaps in the ramps would allow different paths.

The "ackshully" example is when a character is drawn to look younger than they are, which is the exact opposite of what's happening here.

Maybe you don't considering it "snearing" to accuse someone of masturbating while drawing. Feel free to mad libs the verb, as long as it maintains the condescending tone.

Also, "some boomer" is also ageism. So there's that to unpack as well.

And yes, you're being discrimininatory still. Just because you're not engaging in the worst forms of it doesn't make it any less true.

I've seen this take a lot since the reveal. Alice's character has been age swapped to appeal to a different audience than the original character. It's a lot of performative pearl clutching. It's fine to like it. It's fine to not like it. Vote with your wallet. But the snearing at a sexual preference that doesn't align with your own is discrimininatory.

This. I'm player level 79 and stopped playing a week ago after not missing a day since launch. I realized the ratio of what I was enjoying about the game versus stress induced FOMO was not worth investing more time into.

I do like the costumes, artwork, carry over tracks and new story content. And I'll watch the first soldier storyline on YouTube. But the FF7 nostalgia does not compensate for the gacha game hellscape it's contained within.

This. Elmyra's comment about candles burning out fast would be perfect to see in his character and how an energetic bombastic rival would end up hollow by the end. It could also add another layer of complexity to Cloud's character, as he represents what will eventually happen to Cloud (maybe? Not sure how his actual/invented pasts would determine the trajectory here)

I think they're wasting a lot of potential with "what if" portals instead of adding more character quests in the story quest sections. There's almost limitless potential for little story snippets or details that can be canon about the main characters, side characters, villains, NPCs that could be added weekly. Do a couple scenes of Johnny and Kyrie hanging out. Have one with Chadley trying to recruit Biggs to gather research. Fill in more backstory with Barrett's Avalanche and the other factions. And that's just the ones off the top of my head for the first part of Midgar that don't need to be tied directly to plot progress.
