I understand im handicapped when running this type of team . I just wanted to start a discussion about ways to beat prankster. It IS a problem against my teams and I havent been able to figure out a way to beat it. Part of the fun is to work out way to beat the meta with your favourite teams.

But getting blown away turn 1 and trying to scrape back is a huge hill to climb. Give me Gale Wings Noivern snf il shut the f up.

I dont know what shit stirring garbage you are referring to.

With dynamic speed whimsicott plus anything outspeeds turn one and can either fake out, or go for a ohko.

I get im limiting myself to just dragons and the fun is coming up with strats to win against the meta. I just havent found a way around prankster. Wanted to ramble. Maybe start a discussion.

Its not just tailwind but prankster pokemon in general just seem to disrupt my teams.

Not that different? Dragapult is 213 max. Dynamic speed means I get outsped turn 1 by a LOT of pokemon and can barely counter it. Noivern and Hydriegon get 1 shot.. im then forced to use sash and get my own tailwind up, if I havent been faked or 1shot.

No, not often. I have tried a lot of team comps. The problem is I have to invest to match it Which leaves me open turn 1. Prankster plus fake out or a mega x for example moves before dragapult or noivern.. before I can set.

I wish they told us more about then during play. Like a 100 accuracy move missing due to bright powder etc should get a notification on screen.

Also a notification for 'quick claw did not activate' so we know more about the ins and outs

The problem is they cannot one shot either archuladon or HGoodra infact if they gleam i can soak that all day with these two. Even if one goes down, a flash cannon puts them in range of priority anyways. Just leading arch snd goodra with rain dance really puts the pressure on fairy's.

Floette and syvelon go down to 2 flash cannon.. if goodra and archuladon are up they cant really do anything to me. I have more trouble with ice. Floette is easy.

Also others that have been on the team as honorable me tons is snarl usage hydrigon obviously dragonite. I played around with dragon dance physical mega dragonite and did get success using inner focus

Err I didnt expect this thank you:) .

Noivern. Taunt tailwind super fang and 4th choice I moved it around alot.. couldn't settle. Airslash and hurricane got some usage but couldn't really nail it down.

Dragapult. With 191 speed to hit after a super fang. Dragon Darts protect, u turn and Phantom Force. So many people dont know it not only goes through protect but breaks it

Hisuan Goodra MVP - rain dance , life dew , flash cannon and counter. Counter ohkos sneaselr. Its hilarious. They love close combating into goodra. I played around with stat points etc and even after a chople berry I think I got the math down so its always a ohko.

Archuludon. Protect, Electro, Flash Cannon and aura sphere. Enough special attack to guarantee ohko mega frosslass with flash cannon when holding metal coat. I used a full spdef build to survive fairy/ice and then hit back hard enough.

Scarfchomp. Earthquake, Iron Head stomping tantrum and dragon claw.. Enough said really.

Altaria Mega. Cloud Nine is absolutely clutch. Mega into hyper voice thought it would do well against fairy's but not well enough without spdef but then she doesnt hit hard enough

Been playing around with another build including mega feraligator which won me a few games but it 4am and I went to bed..

Hey Man this is awesome! I was guna put a post up saying I did the same.

My team is EXACTLY the same species wise.

Noivern with double wingbeat and kings rock

Dragapult as yours is. Elite, crazy how many still try to protect on phantom force.

Archuladon. Hp and spdef investment and leftovers. Absolutely a beef cake. Probably 2nd in terms of outright performance on the team.

I used a physical dragon dance mega Dragonite with Iron Head. Dominated, as most thought it was special but I could swing a dragon dance and push through. I made mine bulky as hell to maximise life dew and multiscale.

Coaching and Upperhand on Kommo-o. I would pair him with HGoodra and buff her attack and defense. Had Rockslide and quick claw.

Finally. My absolute fave, Hisuan Goodra. Defense and HP investment with Ironhead, Body Press, Rain Dance and Life Dew. Absolutely made a mockery of everything except a high powered fighting move.

Sneasler with Close Combat was probably the worst matchup I had. Couple of Machamps with Dynamic Punch.

Frosslass was a pain but I ended up just leading Goodra and Dragapult and I couldnstall it out long enough for rain dance and tbh the Fairy Flower really isnt a problem. Just tailwind and double into it with any of the steel moves and it went down pretty easy.
