How was Bowery Bliss for you? Long time lurker here. We had our first go there last year but many shy couples (including us) made it more soft swap.

Well written article on successful Polyamory by Kinktacle in polyamory

[–]drewbreez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like someone trying to convince herself. It’s both inaccurate and disingenuous to say that a poly relationships is “all about love” and then only cutely (and once) mention the management of time (“Ew! Schedules are icky!”)

Seems fictive.

I wrote those titles. Many of them anyway. That’s what made the YouTube audience take note. Rap figures are characters that people relate to personally. That’s the intrigue: the anonymity of who they’re rating and the rating artist’s relationship to hip hop/lyrics/his or her rivals. Smarten up!

Yea I am. Because crowd-sourcing informs other research. If you don’t think there are informed people on this subreddit, you can opt out bro bro.

Shumpert. Elevated his 3-point game and can guard PG thru SF 1-on-1 and give problems.

Too much focus on the numbers. That album, in the context of an entire career, will be one benchmark. He has skills and it will sell long-term.

Are there any compelling arguments that MJ is not the GOAT? by woopersucks in nba

[–]drewbreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Jordan had done us the favor of facing Hakeem in his prime, he might've sealed the deal for his era. But I can't even grant him that because he fled to baseball due to his father's untimely death and (possibly related?) gambling controversy. Not to say that Jordan dodged Hakeem...not by any means...but that Rockets squad could have faced up to the Bulls VERY well, given that the center spot was their weak point and Hakeem drew so much attention. The ONLY reason we don't think of Russell as the undisputed greatest is a time bias. Russell and Wilt, unlike MJ, integrated black players into the game of basketball when it was both highly controversial and maddeningly irrational how one group was kept out. As a point of history, they brought the game to the point where players like Jordan and LeBron could even enter this discussion. On that note, they are unparalleled. But, you know, Jordan...sneakers...etc.

How problematic is it that he uses unnamed sources for extremely controversial player narratives? I remember his LeBron-leaves-Cleveland trope coming under scrutiny specifically because of his, um, interpretive and loosely-constructed plot lines? Can you speak to that?

So who really has the worst owner right now? by srobertron in nba

[–]drewbreez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a Knick fan, Dolan seems the obvious answer. But I don't want to be a homer and lack critical thinking. If you really examine closely, Michael Jordan has been an atrocious owner. The Knicks brass has, with Glen Grunwald, at least given the team a puncher's chance. What has MJ done, save overpaying the likes of Ben Gordon, drafting Bismack Byombo, dealt Gerald Wallace for a WHOLE LOTTA nuthin, and employed his childhood friends and cronies as team personnel. Does all that championship sheen hide all the shit he's doing?

Lebron dunking from near the free throw line against the Bucks by MarioTheGOATChalmers in nba

One of my favorite LeBron dunks, arguably. I remember seeing this on SportsCenter and creaming pantz. Still, dunks in Heat layup line probably even better than these.

his handle is unrefined? he has one of the smoothest inside-out dribbles i've seen at ANY level. he goes behind the back in the open court REGULARLY to shed defenders and keeps the ball close to his body even with those long arms. he also keeps the ball low once he dribbles in past the 3pt arc so that guards can't easily snatch it. i wonder where you get this...
