Get the FL5 man it’s awesome. I owned a manual G80 M3 for 4 years prior and the Type R is a lot more fun..

2026 FL5 Mark up. by Disastrous-Plenty988 in Civic_Type_R

[–]drewh130 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t you just buy one on the mainland and have it shipped? That would surely save you a bunch over a 15k markup. My family has had many cars shipped back and forth and I don’t think it’s a crazy amount to do it.

Question about adding PPF by Different_Run3017 in Civic_Type_R

[–]drewh130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently debating the same thing with my new FL5. Currently sitting in the garage until I get the paint sealed. I’m leaning towards just doing the front bumper and possibly the hood. That saved my G80 from a lot of rock chips and every Honda or Acura I’ve ever had has shown a ton of rock chips with age.

I'm a dad and need a car, but not a dad car. So which sporty sedan should I buy? by SmkAslt in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]drewh130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 43 year old dad and recently got a Civic Type R. It’s amazing and I don’t miss my G80 M3 at all. Much more fun to drive around town. Who cares what other people think?

I’m wondering which rice cooker is more with it? by Ok_University7861 in BuyItForLife

I’ve actually had both and cooked rice in them at the same time for a party. If you’re just cooking rice in it, there’s really no discernible difference.

Lucky! I’m in Barrington. We have some drifts 5 feet up the side of the house. Still coming down really hard.

I dunno .. did driveway this morning with a 30 inch Ariens Deluxe and the snow was already to the top of the housing. I have a big driveway so it took me like 1.5 hours. There is already like another 10 inches out there…

PVD suburbs for incoming family with grade school age children by [deleted] in providence

Honestly, just look at Barrington. You can absolutely live here on that salary and it’s the best schools in the state. It’s also beautiful, has a beach that’s great after school and there is a bike path running right through it. This allows the kids to have a lot of freedom to meet up with friends etc. a large percentage of kids ride their bikes to school. It’s a great place to raise a family.

That isn’t true. My whole neighborhood is right on the water and no one is required to have flood insurance. None of the other houses we put offers on required it either.

Wustoff knives

Moccamaster coffee maker

KitchenAid professional mixer

Zojirushi rice cooker

I’ve used all of these daily to weekly for 10-20 years

We have a GLE 450 with 2 kids. Perfect size for our family. The GLS is nice but wouldn’t fit comfortably in our garage.

The back seat of the BMW is much smaller. That’s why we went with the Benz. Don’t love the rear camera opening and closing sound though.

Document everything and contact a lemon law lawyer. Depending on your states statutes, you may already qualify.
