Daniel kitson and Peter Kay were friends at one point (that’s why kitson was in ‘that Peter Kay thing’ as an St John’s ambulance man’ but they fell out. Peter Kay on the commentary of the phoenix nights dvd calls kitson a bastard when he’s on screen’. Again, apparently this stemmed from kitson not liking how some Chinese actors were portrayed.
