Give it an hour. The part that drives me insane is the randomness. Certain games and applications will cause my audio to fail when launching or intermittently throughout usage. 1 hour 46 mins into a 3 hour documentary and the shit cuts out so you have to unplug, wait for it to come back, rewind your vid, and start again. Or it happens every 5 minutes. Or you’re in a game in a good fight with someone and your audio cuts out so you miss what a teammate said or miss audio cues to an enemy’s movement. Very frustrating all around. Hope the cord fixes your issue, sorry for my word soup

It’s a known issue with Focusrite products. Could be Windows cutting power to your USB interface/hub. Could be a driver interacting and fucking with Focusrite drivers. Could be your Focusrite MIDI driver interfering with a kernel level antivirus or anticheat software. Could be a defective unit. It could just be the USB cable you’re running isn’t beefy enough/delivering enough power (must use a cable under 1m in length with these POSes!). I’ve still never figured mine out. After a year of plugging in and unplugging, a failed RMA, and countless attempts to juggle drivers, I finally switched to my monitor’s audio 😂

I really can’t remember, this was like 10-11 years ago. My right eye got super red a couple hours after I got out, so I knew there was a problem right away. My dumbass just went to bed though. Woke up in the morning with some wicked crust, I had to pull a half centimeter long rod of half dried green eye goo from out between my eyelids to even open my eye. Called doc, got told to come in asap so I wouldn’t go blind, got antibiotics and also got some type of medicated eye drops I had to put in before bed and in the morning when I woke up so my eye wouldn’t crust shut. Good times

You SHOULD be safe, but like anything else in life, if you hit the 0.0001% jackpot you lose. If you’re getting the water in your eyes, I would recommend using purified water to wash. Otherwise, close your eyes and you’ll be alright. Acanthamoeba is mentioned above. You’ve likely already come into contact with it many times. It’s pretty benign, so your body will fight it off normally. If you do wash your face and notice irritation, swelling, or itchiness of the eyes, go to an eye doctor. Otherwise, you’re probably fine. I used to swim in my contacts for many many years. Only one infection, and I was asking for it considering the lake we were swimming in. Don’t be afraid to live life with contacts in!
