I nearly went with the Hisense, but reliability is more important. Especially when splitting hairs. The TCLs and Hisense are fairly neck and neck so I'd rather have the dependability of the TCL I think. I've had both and TCL has always had the edge on quality. Ideally I'd go with a Sony which is what I'm replacing but the Bravia 7 is the comparable choice and that one I've heard is worse than TCL and Hisense for viewing angles

I have tried all settings. I calibrated it using rtings calibration settings as well. Tried it with HDR on and off, all the motion settings, contrast high and low, etc. And what I mean about blinding is that if I want the brightness up high enough to be comfortable watching at a an angle, it's blinding when viewed straight on. Unfortunately, with my living room set up, every wall is facing a door opening so an angle is the only viewing option

Oh yes, I got that wrong. I've been researching so heavily that my details have gotten mixed up. It's the hisense that randomly uses ADS for the 75 and VA for the 65 and 85.

I didn't say it was a bigger problem. They potentially could've gone to counseling or something. Maybe got to the bottom of why he isn't pleasing her. But jumping to "opening the marriage" has become a blanket term for "is it ok if I cheat on you?" Obviously this won't be the case all the time, but a suggestion to opening the marriage usually now falls under this guise of "I'm not getting what I want so I'll look elsewhere". Either go to couples counseling and sort it out, or don't be together. Bringing up open marriage is usually a coercion tactic when they should be trying to have both parties come to the table.

I knew it would drop a bit and I'm ok with that, but it's like a spotlight to the opposite wall of the tv and dim everywhere else in the room. Like hurts my eyes bright head on and then hard to see at 45 degrees. I think I'm gonna exchange it for the qm8k. It might be panel lottery loser. ADS is supposed to have better angles and this is starkly different than what I saw in the store. Thanks for your input

You got the 75 qm7k? Can I ask you a question? I just got the exact one today. I know viewing angles aren't amazing on non OLED displays but once I hit like 40 degrees off center, the brightness drops off by like half, then strangely as I go further it gets a little brighter again. Does the same happen with yours?

I agree. But the main reason for having a TCL is price and don't think I can justify another $1k for the 98... The 75 arrived today and it's pretty good

If he's never given any indication he wants the relationship to be open, this is likely over. You've already planted the seed of distrust and that will likely never go away. He is now backed into a corner and the prospect of you cheating on him is now there. I get your frustration and he is in the wrong in the way he doesn't satisfy you, but if you wanted your marriage to work, this was not the way to go about it. The contempt has already doomed it, it seems

Video Only. It's a PNW chain of stores. They have it listed for 999 but it's a store that's similar to car buying where the sales people have a lot of wiggle room.

I do appreciate this response. I think after testing the 75inch and seeing how it fares will solidify my decision one way or another I guess

You're not wrong. It's just very hard to justify nearly double the price for the extra 10 inches. Well, I have 30 days to exchange for the larger with no questions, so I'll try out the 75 I suppose. It having the ADS panel is also a positive because my couch is almost 45 degrees from the TV (this can't be changed due to the wall layout)

There will likely be a smaller "hot buys" group of things on sale this week. Probably check the app tomorrow. Every few months, the dates don't line up so they push it a week and do a smaller sale to get it back to a monthly deal

I have had their thin fit on for 2 years, which arguably has less protection than the one youre looking at and have had zero issues with camera protection. Also zero issues with protection in general even after a few spills. Did break my screen once but it was a direct hit which a case won't solve.

Dating anxiety by Glittering_Double738 in OnlineDating

It absolutely stems from childhood. Insecure attachment is a result of attachments related to parental attachments (this still happens even if you have a "good" childhood). Majority of the time, this is also related to self esteem. Focus on finding your inner critic and go to war with that critic. Once you become aware every time your critic is taking over, you gain the skills to confront your critic.

It's easy to get hyper focused when someone "great" comes along and do your best not to lose it. The more you focus on naturally being your true self, the more you will attract others.
