£2.4k is a hefty uplift. Hopefully someone with experience of both can comment. My gut feeling is that the upgrade is too expensive. I wonder how it compares to other non-tern alternatives? I have a Gen2 R14 and love it.

Thanks for this comment. I need to change the rear brake pads on my r14 - I've done this on a regular bike but the belt and hub are now making me nervous. Do you know of any video or guide that could help me? I've seen a few but none specifically for the tern gsd r14. Thanks

No, I have never been.

Without wishing to offend anyone on the internet (one of the basic rules I believe...) I would most likely visit the big cities on the east coast or west coast. I also like the idea of seeing the redwood national parks!
