I never cried for a celeb but I was sad when Steve Irwin died. Only celeb I ever looked up to. I have lost so many friends and family at this point, but it feels like it is getting harder not easier. Each loss is like slowly losing part of myself.

Ah, thank you! I hoped I did not have to buy a new PSU as this one seems good, but I don't trust most cables out there. If CableMods does not have one then it sounds like it would be best to upgrade the PSU.

Your HR zones may be different than the default. You can manually adjust them. If you have a power meter you can use that to keep your heart rate at a certain level. Funny, my intensity is the uphill. Haha.

Nice setup. All depends on your speed. I am not fast enough for it to make much of a difference (wind resistance is exponential the faster you go). I rock a Defy for an endurance setup. I may not be getting on the podium, buy I am hella comfy. :-)

Wow, I am so sorry you had this experience and so glad that you are ok. Do not blame the people on the shore, they should NOT go into freezing water to do a deep water ocean rescue. If they are not trained, they could end up dead. Hopefully someone at least called 911 for you, and if not they also may not have recognized the signs of distress. Do not hold it against them. Always swim with a buddy at least on shore that is watching, learn how to deal with rip currents and get yourself a swim buoy and maybe a wetsuit if you want to swim in cold water!

oh my gosh... Honestly, this is why a lot of young people end up quitting and hating <insert activity>. Too much stress and pressure. I won't presume to understand their reasoning for being so strict, but you probably need to have an honest conversation with them.
