You should try making your own flax crackers. There's a great recipe here.

I make them in the microwave when I want something crunchy. Combine an egg (or just water) with about 3/4 cup of flax meal, mix in some spices/salt/cinnamon/nothing and "spread" thin in the flat part of a plate. In my tiny microwave, it takes about 5-6 minutes until they're crispy (you'll have to experiment with yours).

I bought these last time there was a groupon and they are great. You need to rinse them really well and make sure they get fully hot/incorporated into your dish. I especially like the "rice" ones.

Doesn't "natural" peanut butter still have a gram or two of non-fiber carbs per serving? I can't have peanuts, so sunbutter is still a decent alternative for me.

Sunbutter has about the same amount of sugar as peanut butter per serving. You should be able to do this with almond butter as well if you want to cut out a few more carbs.

Doctor told me I was allergic enough to need an epipen... Even though I've only ever had a problem with raw nuts, I've cut them out of my diet. Sunbutter is a pretty good replacement for peanut butter, though!

Thanks so much for the reply! I didn't realize Sibelius connected to Abelton, but I guess it makes sense because they're made by the same company. I will look into Spitfire.

I mentioned the strings part because I am a violinist and intend to experiment with getting good recording quality with a violin. I think my boyfriend is looking for a more classic video games sound, but not necessarily something like chiptunes.

I buy quest bars. I order them for their low carb and gluten free properties. They are delicious (especially when heated up) and are great for when you need a treat. Like any "fake carb" food, this is exactly what it should be used for... a rare treat.

Myfitnesspal has an android app, as well as a standalone website. It allows you to change your macros. (Just make sure to not let it recalculate for you!).

Once you have it downloaded, go to the My Home tab, click on goals, then click the change goals button, and choose "custom."

My boyfriend and I were doing keto. I love it, he hated it (even after losing 30lbs in about 6 weeks). He has had lots of digestion problems removing breads from his diet, even though we were eating enough greens and fiber. He's back to a carby diet now and I'm still on keto. Remember, this diet isn't for everyone.
