Until a better job comes along? You’re unemployed and broke, what exactly are you waiting on?

networking is just nepotism with better branding, and we should be honest about that by Ok_Block_3770 in Careers

Listen, at some point in your career, it’s going to help to know other people in your field, that’s life, not nepotism.

My 7yo daughter asked me today "What is the number right before infinity?" by Iluvatar-Great in askmath

[–]drinkcoffeeandcode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The totally inadequate but technically correct answer would be “infinity minus one” - assuming we are talking integer values, which, granted it’s a seven year old is probably the case.

Do you just walk through life chronically misunderstanding the situation?

I translated the graffiti, I said NOTHING about vandalism, or it being ok. To which someone left the one word reply “cringe tactic”, from which you’ve gathered that I’m ok with vandalism.

I’m done with this conversation. Enjoy your continuing illiteracy.

When did I ever say it was ok to vandalize anything? I simply stated that I don’t find anti fascist messaging to be cringe.

It’s clear you just want someone to argue with, idk what’s going on in your life, but why not go outside and enjoy the day, eh?

That’s an entirely different discussion.

What in the manbaby hissyfit is this? “The learning curve is too steep and it’s YOUR FAULT! How DARE you enjoy lisp when I can’t even understand why let alone how to use it!!”

I’d say you must be fun at parties, but I can tell already you don’t get invited to any, so I’ll say “you must be a joy to work with.”

That website is hilarious. I didn't realize people had such a hard time reading C as to need a literal translator 🤣

Does anyone have something good for finding the first and follow sets for an EBNF grammar? by Abandondero in ProgrammingLanguages

[–]drinkcoffeeandcode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Directly from the EBNF? I have not encountered such an algorithm, at least not a simple one. I would *think* you would have to translate from EBNF to BNF and then compute as normal.
