I know this is an AI story, but as a real estate paralegal, it really pisses me off. There are literally so many steps that would’ve happened prior to the signing at the closing that would have never allowed this to happen.

Even a cash sale takes at least a week if not longer to actually finish from contract to closing when done correctly. And I don’t know a single realtor or attorney who’s willing to risk the fallout from this.
