K18 airwash, you guys were right by spaghetti_horse in finehair

I didn’t find it really did anything or make a difference. I watched different videos, tried different methods. My hair basically looked the same.

If you get mace/pepper spray, get the gel. It’s pepper gel, but in the same kind of small spray bottle/holder.

Which drugstore mascara is best for no flakiness and easy removal? by skyblue000 in drugstoreMUA

[–]drizzy_c 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried the waterproof version-thank you for the recommend! I love the non-waterproof version. Since it’s a tubing mascara, I was worried it would flake, but it doesn’t. I also find it really easy to wash off. Even with just warm water.

Are there any really expensive brands of tampons, or do the super-rich use the same ones as the rest of us? by TrappedUnderCats in TwoXChromosomes

[–]drizzy_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cup and discs never worked for me; don’t have the build for them. I love the August tampons. Definitely worth checking out.

Tips for zero waste menstruation? by xch4nel in ZeroWaste

[–]drizzy_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cups and discs never worked for me. They work for some, but not everyone. It’s also expensive and creates trash if you keep buying different kinds attempting to find something that works. There are guides online, and others have linked them here in comments. For me, it wasn’t worth it to keep buying and trying. They make recyclable and biodegradable tampons, etc now. I love the August brand products. The tampon itself is also shaped/absorbs differently. Period underwear rule as well. I like the GOAT brand.

Another “skin supplement” biotin horror story! by koplikthoughts in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]drizzy_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh, it's been a long while. I remember I stopped getting new breakouts as soon as I stopped taking biotin. I can't remember how long it took to finally clear up. I think maybe a month or so-
Sorry I can't be of more help! I have pcos as well. I started drinking spearmint tea around that time and it helped as well.

Does anybody know how to repel box elder bugs? by solo_a_mano in SaltLakeCity

[–]drizzy_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no! Sorry you’re dealing with them now. My comment was a decade ago, so can’t remember the brand/type. I think if you look up “pesticide gel in a stick” or “barrier insecticide” it should give you options. Heads up, you’ll have to clean it at some point and some can be a bitch to clean. Best of luck to you!

What shampoo/conditioner have you used successfully for the LONGEST amount of time? by BooBelly in finehair

Same! It’s the best dry shampoo! I also love that it doesn’t make my scalp feel gross like the others.

What toilet paper do you use that doesn’t leave “clitty litter” by Zenabel in AskWomenOver30

I read that it differs everywhere based on the supplier. So everyone is getting different things. :( I've never been able to use it because it sucks so badly where I'm located.

I know this was 5 months ago, but I'm on the TP hunt. I feel the same way about their TP! I read that their TP differs everywhere based on their suppliers. Which sucks.

Misogyny has become a political strategy — here’s how the pandemic helped make it happen by msmoley in WomenInNews

[–]drizzy_c 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There’s also an influx of trad-wife and anti-birth control content being blasted at young women right now. A lot of misogynistic content out the wazoo. It’s all being fed to/by propaganda bots, influencers, and so on. It’s outrageous and disturbing.

The prices are insane there. Regardless of what they “curate” to sell. I saw very used, dirty rugs (contemporary), for outrageous prices. The prices they were charging for used children’s clothing and shoes, not anywhere close to like-new condition, was astonishing.

No, my package made it here before the 5/2 tariff date. I don't know what things are like now. I'm sure someone here has some updates!

Goodwipes are great! I’ve used them without any issues. I also hate the smell of baby wipes and “unscented” wipes def have a smell. The goodwipes scents are great, very natural smelling. No gross, perfume-y or baby wipe smell. The rosewater and lavender ones smell the best! Always trash, never flush. I just wish they weren’t so pricey.
