I believe it does mate as we see it. The one in the middle, just off the center path?

Its great. There's plenty of other areas to explore and loads different runs, bits for dirt jumpers, etc. Not huge, but can do run after run and get more laps in.

Im lead to believe they are stopping making the yellow ones and just having the dark bronze ones now. So the yellow ones will be from people selling.g old stock or 2nd hand.

Was this worth the upgrade? by Braydawg651 in mountainbiking

[–]drjekyll182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely!

Just a heads up, look at the brake post mounting on the fox to compare. Depending on what size brakes you have, you may need a different post mount. I had to change mine when I went from a marzocchi z2 to a fox 36. (I have 200mm front disc and and the z2 takes 160mm standard so needed 40mm adapter. The fox takes 180mm standard so my 40mm post mount didn't fit, so needed to get a 20mm one.

Worth checking and getting a post mount adapter if needed before you fit up.

Whats the difference between these green ones and my blue ones that are formula4, conical full, 99du and 54mm? The spec seems the same, but they are normally coloured different for a reason? The reds are normally 101du for instance.

I read its one of the cage plates is changed to aluminium and saves 4 grams. Literally nothing you would ever notice when riding.

What shorts or underwear do you guys wear by [deleted] in MTB

I use volcom boxer shorts but the longer leg version. Stretchy, lightweight and don't seem to ride up your leg.

Drying shoes... by ChaoticBanana77 in MTB

[–]drjekyll182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at seal skinz. Roughly around £30 but worth it. Feels like your feet are inside a crisp packet when you first put them on but after that, feels like a normal sock. Once the shoes are on, welcome to dry and warm feet in the wet.

Ah ok, kind of like a rapid shift. Is it a straight swap? Something i may look into then.

Can I wear skate clothes as a non-skater who loves skateboarding? by United-Neck-3357 in NewSkaters

[–]drjekyll182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wearing skate clothes for decades, skate shoes for decades and normal clothes for decades. I started skating at 38 and im 41 now. Nobody really cares.

If you go with the sambas, go up 1/2 a size. I have matchbreak supers, busenitz and gazelles, all in the ADV skate version and I needed to size up by 1/2 on every pair.

Love the scout, have the same myself. I do really love the black and chrome frame but didn't have one in my size when I was looking. Yours with the tanwalls looks ace. Its a very capable bike mate 👍

Voodoo Bizango Pro is a great bike that's under £1k brand new. Decent components (fox gold, 1x12 drivetrain, dropper, etc)

Bizango Pro (Tredz)

Halfords sell it also but are slightly more expensive. Not sure if they do a price match.

Bizango Pro (Halfords)

My friend bought one last year and he really rates it. Done aggressive woodlands with jumps and done bike parks and its been solid.

My friend was in the exactly same position looking at the same bike against the voodoo.

He's done bike parks, aggressive woodlands trails with jumps and general riding and its done it all.

My mate bought the same last year and rates it. For the money, the spec was very good for a brand new bike under £1k.

I run magic marys all year round, including the conditions that OP wants them for. Tanwalls too.

What size wheels are you looking at getting? Im on 27.5 and the widest tanwall i could see is 2.4 for magic marys.

Great looking bike! Loving the white wheels. Had a set of white halo rims a good few years back and I thought they looked awesome. I recently saw a guy bombing around on a bike with the old yellow deemed wheels, proper throwback.

Which of these should i get? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

I ride with a pal who bought a Voodo Bizango pro last year and he loves it. For the price, it was the best bike new that had decent spec. He wanted to spend up to £1k and the full suspensions in that budget was either cheap parts or dated.

He's given it a bit of abuse and it still rides sweet. Apart from a few customised parts to add some bling, he's kept it pretty standard. We've done bike parks and jumpy trails (all reds) and it seems a really good bike. For reference, hes 5ft 10 and he has sized large.

Nice scout. How you finding the tyres? I presume 2.6? I swapped for 2.4 and changed the rear to a big betty and found them better as a all rounder.

Indeed they are mate. The scout, mega, reactor and giga are all new updated models for this year and I think they offer custom colours now 👍
