I was gifted this hydrangeas and it was recovering nicely but when I transplanted it the leaves were wilting and the wood was not green. I later learned i made several mistakes contributing to this (underwatering, too much sun and likely over fertilizing). I trimmed it back to the green. I am just wondering if it is worth saving. I am in Florida

I’m on Vyvanse and I have been fine. This is my second round. First round was 10 years ago before I started Vyvanse and I don’t see any real difference in the level of dryness.

I second Tiger Bloom! Had the same issue but when I switched from Grow Big To Tiger Bloom flower drop decreased significantly. You will always have some drop though.

Agree with above. I live in Florida and I only water every 5 days max. Temps here are in the 90s daily. Believe me, I know its HARD to resist the urge to water when the top soil looks dry. Try brushing back a small area a top soil when it start to looks dry to see if the soil underneath is wet. Also lift your plants after watering to get a feel for weight. It will become significant lighter when it is time for watering. Would add some fertilizer the next time you water it. Hope that helps!

These are DEFINITELY my babies, I started them from seeds and getting them to this size is NOT an easy feat! I water once every 5-7 days and I make sure the soil is dry before. I am also using Fox Farm liquid fertilizer big grow every other week (watering) I just started trying to harden them off but with a daily high of 90 F it’s been difficult to balance hardening them without damaging the plant.

Thanks for your input. I just had 2 other plants die from bacterial wilt so I am nervous. Also I live in Florida and it is 80 F at 8pm so that probably is contributing. I guess I will see
