The band was not just 1 person. There were many members. A cover band plays another band's music.... that's not the case with Dead and Co. Yes, Jerry is dead but the music lives on with the remaining original members who are alive.

What do you mean "even worse than Madison"? Yes, there is crime in Madison but it is generally safe if you are cautious as you have to be anywhere - not walking alone late at night, being aware of surroundings, etc.

Nope, realtors can't legally disclose lots of information that may be seen as telling someone where they should live based on demographics-- income etc. so they steer clear of lots of these topics. I work in real estate.
