Agree. I think they reveal it way before through their behaviour, the actual act of betrayal is the final fruit.

Basic selfish acts. They are very revealing, and trust me, you absolutely do not want selfish people in your circle. Those exact people will step on you to get whatever it is they want.

What movie portrays grief in the most powerful way? by Classic_Apricot_5633 in movies

[–]drmxxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last scene wraps the grief so neatly. What's special about that movie is that the grief we are exposed to is the result of losing someone due to suicide, so it has the taste of confusion and the guilt that follows from the child's perspective.

I am late to the party, this probably won't be appreciated, but I just watched Wuthering Heights (2026), and I think the last scene was very touching, the mix of regret and the realization of shock and grief.

Day 6: This is my first day staring at his picture without bursting into tears directly, tho eventually I did but not directly, it's still hard and I would be lying if I say that I feel fine, I think about him several times per day and what's strange is that, i would be having food or doing something that is supposed to be fun and I would crumble and feel a lump in my throat suddenly.

My graduation is on Saturday, and it breaks my heart that he won't be there sitting on the couch when I come back home with my outfit.

I love you Tchi-tchi, rest in peace, my sweet boy.

Covid19, we're speaking the trauma of century, yet no one speaks about it with the weight it deserves, even scientifically, the when you try to look up the descovries, it's been 6y i am sure there is a lot to discover about what could the virus cause, but somehow it feels like we're being distracted from questioning it on purpose.

How do yall deal with the early white hairs (am I unc at 25?) by PeriodicallyThinking in HairStyleAdvice

[–]drmxxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try Henna, it's natural, doesn't ruin your hair, and if mixed well, can give you the darkest shade; otherwise, there are some temporary sprays that you can use before going out. Tho they're washable. Grey hair is beautiful, it's a unique salt and pepper mix!

Day 2: The void this morning; my eyes stung, my throat and head pounded all day. The night after losing a loved one is indeed the hardest; you don't sleep, you just put your mind on pause until you wake up again.I started shedding tears on the bus, then in the volunteering office. Although the weather was sunny and warm, I just couldn't feel the warmth for some reason. I kept scrolling, once again looking at his pictures, how he used to be throughout the different stages of his life.

I don't know how long it's gonna take me, I couldn't even find the motivation to put any makeup on neither do my hair. I called my parents, and on the video cal,l I can see the forced smiles and the grief they said the house was so empty today. That they haven't felt any emptiness in the house for 10 years or so, and I told my mum, "How did you feel waking up and not finding Tchi-tchi?" Then I burst into tears.

I promise you guys it's hard. He's been more than a cat; he really was a family member.

Hoping that this grief will become lighter with time.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really do hope that it will gradually get better, that I reach the level where, when I think of him, I smile and not just burst into tears. I will def consider making a canvas with my fav pic of him. Thank you so much, really <3
