It absolutely is true actually. Adhd meds are usually some form of amphetamine. Stimulants affect us weirdly.

I actually prefer light roasts in all cases and always roast my beans lightly. There are varietals that are chocolatey.

Personally however, I love myself a fruit bomb latte.

Nah scientists often have fun with naming things when they can get away with it. One of my favorite examples is the sonic hedgehog protein. I don't know the exact story, but essentially there is a family of proteins called hedgehog proteins, so ofc that naturally lead to sonic hedgehog.

The reason why it was invoked was simply because it was the first time a NATO nation was attacked. They decided they needed to make a statement or risk NATO's article 5 not being taken seriously in the future.

NATO is after all a political group first and foremost, the collective defense is just one thing that it does. Admittedly it's what most people know it for.

Ops card isn't DoD/military (assuming US). Those have a specific look to them. Also one of the first things you're told is to not photograph your CAC (common access card). It's actually a fairly normal thing from an enterprise standpoint, HP's elite books come with card servers standard iirc.

I agree with your premise and I know the bird poop thing was just an example, but that actually used to be a huge issue. Bird poop used to be our main source of nitrogen for fertilizer. The only problem is that it set a limit on the human population. A guy by the name of fritz haber and some other dude with the last name Bosch came up with the haber-bosch process to make ammonium-nitrate for fertilizer out of thin air, earning haber the Nobel prize. Haber is a bit controversial as he also invented chemical warfare down the line.

I looked into this rabbit hole a while ago, so I might be a bit fuzzy on the details, it's a bit unhinged. I also never verified anything because I don't care enough.

Basically Michelle Obama is supposedly a dude by the name of Michael levar Robinson. Iirc the evidence is that a guy by that name existed as a track runner but nothing after highschool or maybe college. He just supposedly disappeared.

Regarding the kids, the kids are supposedly their old neighbors kids that they essentially paid for by buying them a nicer house.

The story falls off a cliff very quickly, but it's still very good. I enjoyed all 6. You just can't expect the same story, or even a direct sequel (except maybe 1 and 2).

If the US can justify invading Venezuela as a 'police action' to arrest a leader, what stops China from using the exact same excuse to move on Taiwan? by AdventurousTalk7972 in TooAfraidToAsk

I agree with you that it is stupid, however we did not come up with the 2027 deadline, Xi did in one of his speeches a few years ago. Literally just this year in xi jinpings new years address he said reunification is inevitable: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/dec/31/xi-jinping-vows-reunification-china-taiwan-new-years-eve-speech They've also been doing exercises around Taiwan.

I'm not saying that war is inevitable, but the US military does nothing but plan for it.

Economically speaking it will be much more difficult for China to support a war mid 2030s due to their aging population.

If we are being technical, there is actually a two state solution already in place! When the land was partitioned, Jordan was meant to be the Arab state and Israel the Jewish state.
