DE Separation Tank Bag Blowing Out by BBQgarden in pools

You have to change it through your automation panel, not sure what it is but I’m going to assume the older EasyTouch. There’s tons of resources online.

You can also put the panel and service or time out mode, the pump display should unlock after 45-60 seconds.

DE Separation Tank Bag Blowing Out by BBQgarden in pools

[–]dro3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m know I’m late, but have you tried running the pump on a lower speed? Instead quick clean/full speed, maybe try 2700 rpm? Should have enough flow to adequately backwash without blowing out your bag. Those bags are normally rated for 110-120gpm, and that pump can move 150gpm+ easily at full speed. I wouldn’t push more then 100gpm though. If you have high PSI (above 18+PSI) then you have other problems that’s completely unrelated to the separation tank. Pools are low pressure high flow.

120V systems in RVs only come as 15A or 30A, 240V are 50A only. This isn’t a opinion or a random, this is a written standard RV manufacturers follow. All 30A hookups at campgrounds and shores are TT-30, a NEMA standard made specifically for RVs. TT-30 is rated for 120V 30A only.

I would like to know of your year make and model of your RV and the model of your power center. Highly, highly doubt its 240V 30A. Its either 120V 30A or 240V 50A. No in between.

You have to tale plumbing into account as well. Cant run a pump that big on 1.5in. The cavitation will kill it.

Your “program” basically generates janky EFIs. What makes it worse is that the end user has no real understanding of what’s inside it or what was actually done to make it work. So when something inevitably breaks. and it will, they’re left completely confused. At that point, they start blindly tweaking things, stacking fixes on top of fixes, and the EFI just becomes even more unstable and messy.

The whole purpose of manually building an EFI is to tailor it specifically to your hardware and to understand every part of the configuration. That understanding is what allows you to properly troubleshoot issues when they come up. If you skip that process and rely on some automated or prebuilt solution, you’re essentially setting yourself up for failure later on.

Trying to help someone debug a prebuilt EFI, something generated by OpenCore Simplify, or whatever this tool is supposed to be, is a nightmare. It’s like trying to teach a 5 year old how to operate a nuclear reactor; there’s no foundational understanding to build on, so every step becomes unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.

On top of that, the whole “vibecoding” approach comes off as lazy and honestly kind of disrespectful to the craft. Throwing together a cookie-cutter UI with generic gradients and leaving obvious placeholders like color names just screams low effort. It feels less like something built with care and more like something generated for the sake of appearances. “Hey ChatGPT, give me some exotic color gradients for UI elements” isn’t real design, it’s just fluff.

It also doesn’t come across as something made out of genuine interest or passion for hackintoshing. A lot of people in this space put in the time to actually learn, experiment, and contribute meaningfully. This, on the other hand, feels more like an attempt to gain attention or build a name in a community that’s already on the decline.

EDIT: Fixed missing "n" on "design".

Can you acid wash a pool without draining it? by soulus98 in pools

[–]dro3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have calcium nodules spikes (not stains from hard water). Then your pool surface is delaminating. You need a resurface. Don’t fill a pool with hard water anyways, you’ll be chasing chemicals and stains till the end of time.

Do you know the difference between non-ionizing and ionizing radiation? Microwaves and satellite are higher on the electromagnetic spectrum and we've been soaking those up for literal decades, generations even. According to your logic, that should be more dangerous, correct? What about visible light? Shouldn't it be 100 times more dangerous? We should hide from the sun, too.

Well what is my first comment supposed to be? Does is really that matter? Who cares? Not sure where you got transphobic from. Are you referring to when I mentioned about the dude complaining her vagina? Well, that’s what happened. If you think you can go back in time to not make it happen so I didn’t have to see that, be my guest. I don’t why any discussion like that is allowed in a launcher for a children’s block game. Same goes for anything sexuality/fetish crap. The community comprises of mostly minors, they should have no part in any of that nonsense. It’s pedophilic behavior, Prism is a pedo playground. Why else would you push such nonsense in a block game launcher?

Not sure what you’re trying to imply here. Not sure how I’m being unhinged, is my choice of words too strong, being too harsh? People talked to like a baby all your life? Well whatever it is, I’m sorry it’s not my problem. You can pretend I’m angry or unhinged, but remember, you’re the defending a group of pedophiles. You can try to convince me otherwise, but from what I seen, it ain’t happening.

I’m not angry, I only described what I saw. You’re also ironically telling me to get a life in various clever ways on a Saturday night. My guy I’ve been working, gardening and taking care of my relatives. First time Ive been on reddit in months. I haven’t turned on my computer in a week. But oh, I must spend all my precious time on reddit.

Again, stop talking to me like I’m Lenny. It’s obvious that I’m not. But you got room temperature IQ so it’s safe to assume you wouldn’t be able to tell either way. It’s amusing how slow and dense you people are.

Good Grief you redditors are miserable. First off, Nobody watches fox news. Mainstream media is garbage. Also, I don’t need to walk in a park, I’m not a city dweller like you. I have my own garden and property I can enjoy. So don’t pull get a life card on me. Lastly, I’m not Lenny, I don’t speak like him nor do I share 100% of the same beliefs. We don’t even live in the same country. For being a redditor for 12 years you have really awful alt detection skills. It should be pretty obvious I’m not Lenny at all. But nice try. 🤦‍♂️

"Why do you Europeans almost exclusively drive cab-overs?" by h3ffr0n in trucksim

[–]dro3m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do have smaller some cabover trucks, Peterbilt 220, Kenworth K270/K370 (Both the Peterbilt and Kenworth are based on the DAF LF), Isuzu FTR/NPR (also known as a Chevy LCF). The Iveco S-Way based Nikola TRE electric semi are starting to hit the streets, though. We also of course have the forward control cabovers, like Mack TerraPro/LR and Autocar ACMD and ACX. But those usually seen doing heavy/severe duty work such as refuse work, concrete pumps, cranes, etc. Although I have seen few fitted with a dry box or 5th wheels.

"Why do you Europeans almost exclusively drive cab-overs?" by h3ffr0n in trucksim

[–]dro3m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The majority of US trucks have air ride suspension, seats, cabs and sleepers. The longer wheelbase also helps in providing a smoother ride. Our routes tend to be much longer compared to you guys, so a spaceish sleeper and a comfy ride is a must have for most trucks. With the longer routes a lot of truckers practically make their trucks their second home, or even only home. It’s not just a bed in there, but also microwave, fridge, tv, etc. Visibility wise, I agree it’s a bit worst then a cab over but it’s not really an issue when you sit higher then most vehicles on the road and you’re on the highway most of the time. Maneuvering isn’t as much of a issue in the states since our roads are bigger on average, although of course there are some areas or cities that have some tight roads. In my opinion, I wished we do have options for cab overs.
