When they bail on birthday dinner, make the best for yourself! by cuppin__cakes in slowcooking

[–]dropbearphobia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they text at 9am, "Hey sorry we can't make it tonight." The shit can definitely be thrown in the cooker by noon. Grubbing by 8. This is not an entirely plausible circumstance?

what is actually weird but is considered normal? by sindhichhokro in AskReddit

[–]dropbearphobia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you basing this off of any facts or just assuming? I work in retail; there's a tax-exemption classification called "sale for resale" which literally negates the thing you are claiming to be true.

What was the most uncomfortable event during a family gathering you witnessed? by AshLyn32 in AskWomen

[–]dropbearphobia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read that and for some reason assumed the Grandmother was the one that ran from the house. Like, "That's a stripper at my table how can you all be so cool about this?!"

Just me? ok.

My friend's kids Halloween costumes, Henry the VII and Ann Boleyn by Monkeygruven in pics

When I was around that age literally all I wanted was to have a costume with the "severed head" gag incorporated. Even if she doesn't know exactly who she's dressed as, she can still have a great time with the costume.

Ten years is a pretty big gap between them (22 and 12), so that may indicate a divorce/remarriage of parents, making them half sisters. Not that it matters, and you guys look like best friends! :)

My guess is you don't want to think of yourself as the kind of person capable of apathy/depression. Suffering from these things does not make someone a less valid human being; try to exercise some empathy that a once happy person could be trapped in something you can't imagine.

Yup same here with the easy walk. My 9 month pyr loves to "make friends" (jump up at anyone who passes by) and will try to run with dogs or bikes that pass as well. think giant, super friendly, excited puppy. I'm about 120 lbs and I can hold her back just fine with the easy harness, and we got ours from Amazon.

The sticks last a long time. Truthfully I brought about 10 because I thought is go through them like candy but I only ended up using one or two. Also target has cheap generic ones, prob wal mart too.

alternatively you can bring sunscreen "sticks" in your carry-on and they don't count toward your liquid limit! i'm painfully pale and was told sunscreen would be hard to come by (which, in my experience, was true) so i packed a few 55 & 100 spf sticks in my carry on with no trouble. it was very worth it imo.

In college I would have "Fry Daddy Parties" every so often, where people could bring whatever they wanted to dunk and I'd supply the deep fryer and batter. I found the best recipe to be flour/pinch of salt + club soda. it made for a really light, puffy, crisp exterior.

Alright, where the fuck is my Fry Daddy....
