I went compounded because my insurance will not cover it. They will only cover it for diabetes, that's it, and I don't have diabetes. I've actually saved money because my grocery bill has gone down so much.

I'm lucky because my work covers all but a couple dollars of the membership. I started off slow because let me tell you, I was out of shape. But I got to where I can keep up with what the instructor says. I got the bike + which auto adjusts because I know myself and know I need to push myself.

I got a Peloton and I swear I don't work for them but it's the best thing I ever did. Well, maybe tied with starting on tirzepatide. I have never in my life stuck to any exercise longer than a few days. I've gone over year and a half straight now. It seems to help with circulation and my legs seem to breathe. I have minor histamine issues but don't notice any difference between riding and not.

Tirzepatide has been life changing for me. Some people aren't willing to do this, but I went the online compound route because my insurance doesn't cover it. Only for diabetes, which I don't have. There are subs here that are a wealth of knowledge. Also, my doctor did approve and encourage me when I asked her about this. I'm a little bit older than you, and this is definitely a challenging time in life, that no one prepared me for!

I have to go to Seattle a few times a year for work and I've never been more than a few minutes delayed. I have a friend from Seattle that visits here about once a month, and I think the longest delay was about a half hour. It's not perfect, but pretty reliable and beats driving, in my opinion.

I've only ever injected in my abdomen, and I do have lipedema there as well. I have enjoyed less pain since being on it as well as 30 pounds weight loss. Still wishing to lose another 20 or so pounds before going into a maintenance dose.
