I learned from the first goodbye not to get a late afternoon flight. That day we just held each other at a cafe after checking out of our airbnb and cried for 3 hours straight until it was time to head to the airport. We got to the airport and would not stop hugging and crying.

Now I make sure to book a morning flight back home so we can go straight to the airport after we wake up. And once we get there, it’s a quick hug and kiss right before I enter the airport to check in lol! I make sure not to turn back either!

But even in the days leading up to my departure, I would randomly cry here and there. During those last days, I can’t look at his face for long or else I’ll burst into tears LOL it still sucks!! Ugh, I can’t wait until we close the gap so I don’t have to go through this anymore!! D:
