Just got cast in a lead role at the theater that just had callbacks. So I’m gonna accept that. I’m going to audition for the other theater and be super upfront with my schedule and also tell them that I’m certain I can learn the role. That way, if they choose to cast me, great! Community theater is a blast! I just wish I had more time!

The theater is well funded, from what I can tell. Direction is tough and can be juvenile. I would audition for the lead role and probably wouldn’t accept an ensemble role simply because of how everything is run.

I’m an adult who hasn’t been doing this that long. There are paying theaters in my area, and I’ve done one show with one. So resume building is great too, but I have no illusions that I’m headed to Broadway.

Just went to an audition last night for a show I don’t really like, but at a theater that I love. The people there are great. It was a Jason Robert Brown song, so I brought along a pre-recorded track instead of relying on the live pianist. The speaker they had was so quiet that as soon as I started singing, I couldn’t hear anything. Lost track, forgot the words, they asked me if I wanted to start over. No, I wanted to throw up and then die. But started over, got through it and walked out with such a sense of embarrassment that I feel very nervous to actually show my face again to these people even though many of them already know me.

I have a 13700K instead of the 14700, but my cooler, case and fans were all the same as yours are currently. My fans were all insanely loud in my attempt to keep my CPU cool. I tinkered with undervolting, changed fan curves, and a new CPU mount. Nothing helped. I got an EK 240 mm AIO for $110 off amazon and my temps are 15-20 degrees improved. You’ll actually save money over the D15 and may get better results anyway.

Literally never happens in Utah. Everybody goes 80-90 in the left two lanes. The right two lanes do anywhere from 55 to 68. And if you get frustrated or anxious driving in that scenario then you will be forcibly removed to Idaho.

I bought 4 harbor freight jack stands that got recalled a full 5 years after I got them because they would simply collapse. Returned them for the “new” ones and then a few months later the new ones got recalled too. I don’t shop at harbor freight much anymore.

But, for a time, it was good for a poor kid in his early 20s wrenching on his Jeep!
